**[Azazel]**
'Why am I working on paperwork when I could just pass it off to Shemhazai later?' he thought as he leaned back in his chair and sighed.
He began to ponder what to do in the meantime, which led him to consider visiting his oppai club….This thought then sparked the idea of inviting Odin along so they could discuss the alliance…hmmm maybe?. However, that line of thinking quickly reminded him that he could ask Harry for help, only to recall that he probably wouldn't be able to afford the price Harry would ask for his help— He had been foolish to allow him into his library... but in his defense who would have thought that the guy possessed such a Grimoire? Although he didn't understand how it worked or where it came from, he knew one thing: it could copy any knowledge in the immediate vicinity….
'Eh, you win some, you lose some,'he thought.
He still rememberes the first time he met Harry. It was right after the news broke about the destruction of the Tepes faction, which had caught the supernatural community by surprise.
Who would have thought a human magician would be crazy enough to incinerate most of them with holy fire? No, no, no—who would have thought a human magician could use holy fire at all? The only ones who wielded anything close to it were the five principal clans, and that was only done by invoking the names of gods and borrowing their fire.
'He did call himself a wizard, though,' a rogue thought crept in.
How could he forget the look of distaste on Harry's face when he referred to him as a magician? It was both amusing and perplexing.
—Flashback—
Azazel had just received news about the incident with the Tepes faction, along with information about the possible culprit: one Harry Potter, the contracted magician of Sairaorg Bael.
From what he read in the report, Harry had started doing mercenary work, tackling any and all jobs that involved eliminating anything that harmed children or was connected to rape cases be it supernatural or mundane.
They even detailed the cases of 13 fallen killed by him, their names, their crimes, and who put the bounty on their heads. This wasn't new so he didn't care much about them, but he still wanted to meet this youngbman. So to the Bael territory he went.
After a bit of searching, he found Harry in a park, playing with a baby, so he approached him.
"Hello there, nice weather we're having today, huh?" he greeted.
"What do you want, Fallen? I'm busy playing with my daughter, so if you're looking for a fight, come back in an hour or so," the boy replied, not even bothering to look at him.
Now he was intrigued; 'the boy must have impressive sensing abilities or perhaps some kind of artifact?'
"Ah, no, I didn't come to fight. I'm more of a researcher than a fighter these days," he said.
"So what do you want? ," Harry asked, still focused on the girl.
If Azazel hadn't seen the reports about the aftermath of every case the boy took, he wouldn't think of associating this boy in front of him with the infamous ruthless mercenary.
"Ah, I apologize, I haven't introduced myself, have I? I'm Azazel; Governor General of the Fallen Angels and founder of Grigori." He tried a different approach, hoping this time he'd capture the boy's attention.
"Hmmm, and why is that important to me right now?" Harry's response was not expected. He would admit the he was taken aback for a moment there, but that only deepened his curiosity further. Thus He decided to sit down right in front of them.
"I just had a few questions for you. I wanted to ask about your holy fire and if I could see it?," he said in a curious tone That made Harry finally raise his head and look at him.
"What's in it for me? What can you offer me to show you my spell?" the boy asked.
'This just keeps getting better and better,' Azazel thought.
"What do you want?" So he asked
"Knowledge." Harry's answer.
'Unexpected but not outside expectations either'
"What kind of knowledge?"
"Anything related to alchemy, runes, magical theory, sealings, etc."
"Hmmm, I can provide you with some. What level and how many books?" he asked.
'This could turn out to be a good thing. Perhaps I could even persuade him to join Grigori,' he mused, unaware of how wrong he would later be.
"I want the basics and beginner-level knowledge. Make it diverse—old, new, different types, and nothing that has magician's type of knowledge unless it's exotic." Harry answered, all while using magic to shape and animate soldiers in the sand castle they had built together, eliciting excited laughter from the baby.
" Deal. So, could you use the spell?" Azazel asked,
Even though he was curious about how the boy had manipulated the sand without a magical circle. He decided to hold back that question for the moment.
"Hmmm, ah sure, here," Harry said, snapping his fingers making a small golden-white flame appeared on his hand.
Azazel could instantly tell it had holy properties; it was still different from anything he'd seen before.
Instantly different magical circles appeared in front of him—casting various diagnostic spells—but he couldn't find anything about it… other than the fact that it was the bane of all dark creatures, was created for protection rather than offense, and that it had some soul-cleansing properties that he couldn't discern how they worked.
"Where did you find this spell?" he asked seriously; anything that affected the soul like this would have been well-documented or he would have known about it.
"Oh, I created it," Harry replied succinctly.
That stumped him; how could he have done that? Based on what? Wh—
"Oh, and for the record, I am a wizard, not a magician," Harry interrupted his thoughts.
'Wizard?' Azazel looked at the boy again, closely inspecting him. He couldn't shake the feeling of intrigue and curiosity.
"Okay, what about the spell you just used?" He changed the subject, trying to distract himself a little.
"What about it? You only paid for the holy one" Harry replied.
"Hahahaha, yes yes, how about I add some books about Celtic and Nordic Runes and glyphs huh?" He asked hoping the boy would go for it.
"If they are old and rare then sure, I can tell you about it"
"Deal, I will have all the books delivered to you tomorrow"
"Well, the spell is a simple animation spell that allows me to use magic to shape and control what I want…." The boy replied.
' That's not possible. The amount of energy and calculation needed to do that are …..'
"Haaaah"… "okay I give up. But before I leave. Are you interested in joining Grigori?"
"Nahh, I'm good" the boy's nonchalance was refreshing in a way… at least he thought so at the time.
"Heh, just had to ask. Anyway, see you around kid"
——
Now that I think about it. Our meeting have always been kind of rushed but hey, maybe that's just nature's way of saying 'don't get attached'…
"Oh, ooooh" "that son of a b***h, how did he do it?"
It suddenly downed on him that the mysterious sage and Harry Potter were the same person. His mind suddenly made the connection that he was subconsciously ignoring….
"Hahahahahahahahah, That kid is something else."
'A wizard huh'
