Second Half

The German midfielder, Weiss, took a deep breath and began to control the ball with the inside of his foot. He expertly trapped the ball, using the softest part of his foot to cushion its impact. As he gained control, he subtly shifted his weight onto his right foot, preparing to make his next move.

With a quick glance over his shoulder, Weiss spotted his teammate, Richter, making a run down the left flank. Weiss' eyes locked onto Richter, and he could sense the understanding between them.

The German play was totally based on Weiss as their midfield. If Weiss was shit down, then their midfield would be killed. It was this new strategy that Germany had come up with that they were using to trample all other teams.

Most people were predicting today's scores to be at 4-0 on the first half with Germany on the lead, but this was the second half, and the score was 2-0 with England in the lead.

That was the game of football for you.
