The roar of the crowd grew louder as the game resumed, both teams locked in a relentless tug of war. England pushed forward again, their movements precise and coordinated. Elian found himself just past the halfway line, receiving a quick pass from Milo. With a single touch, he turned, shielding the ball from an advancing French midfielder.
Elian shifted his weight and darted to the left, dragging the ball with him before flicking it ahead with the inside of his foot. The French defenders reacted immediately, closing down space, but Elian's vision was sharp. Spotting a gap, he threaded a pass through to Myles on the left flank.
Myles controlled the ball with the outside of his foot, his pace carrying him into the final third. A French defender charged toward him, but Myles slowed down slightly, causing the defender to lunge prematurely. Myles shifted the ball to his weaker foot and curled in a cross toward the back post.
