After deciding to search for Madara, Hui began making preparations.
He carefully considered what he should say upon meeting Madara.
As he pondered, he steadily made his way toward Madara's location.
This sight brought a sinister grin to Black Zetsu's face as he let out a malicious chuckle, the kind only a true schemer would make.
"As expected, you didn't disappoint me, Hui. Now, let's see how you, the so-called 'Demigod of the Shinobi World,' fare against Uchiha Madara, the shinobi who rivals the God of Shinobi,"
Black Zetsu murmured before sinking deeper into the shadows, trailing after Hui.
Days passed as Hui drew closer to Madara's hideout.
When he finally reached a point not far from the location, Hui stopped in a concealed area where Black Zetsu could not observe him from afar and summoned his Shadow Avatar.
When Hui reappeared in Black Zetsu's sight, what the latter saw was the clone—Shadow Avatar.
Hui's new Shadow Avatars were unique. After mastering life force control, he infused his clones with life energy, making them nearly indistinguishable from his true self.
The authenticity of these clones far surpassed standard Shadow Clones.
Even the Wood Clones of Hashirama Senju couldn't match their realism.
As a result, Black Zetsu had no inkling that the "Hui" he was tailing was now just a clone.
"Such overwhelming chakra," Shadow Avatar one mumbled aloud, sensing the immense and chilling chakra of Madara.
It can only be said that Madara was worthy of his legendary status. His chakra reserves, even in his old age, were far beyond ordinary.
While Shadow Avatar one was sensing Madara's chakra, Madara also became aware of the clone's presence.
Compared to Madara's own chakra, the clone's reserves were considerably smaller, but only by Madara's standards. Against any ordinary ninja, the clone's chakra would have been monstrous.
It didn't take long for Madara to sense the clone's approach.
"Could it be... they're coming for me?" Madara muttered, his deep voice carrying a trace of deep interest.
In the desolate and isolated region where he resided, it was exceedingly rare for anyone to pass by, much less approach him directly.
Though curious, Madara remained calm.
He was, after all, Uchiha Madara. With Hashirama Senju dead, no one in the shinobi world was now worth his concern.
He stood atop the world, unrivaled and peerless, exuding a confidence born of unparalleled strength.
Meanwhile, Shadow Avatar one pressed onward and soon arrived at a towering cliff.
At first glance, the cliff appeared ordinary, steep and sheer, like a blade's edge.
But Shadow Avatar one knew better. Hidden within was a vast chamber where Madara lay in wait.
Rather than forcibly breaking in, the clone channeled natural energy, revealing an entrance in the cliffside.
Taking a deep breath, Shadow Avatar one stepped into the dark tunnel.
The cave was shrouded in darkness, but as the clone delved deeper, faint lights began to illuminate the way.
Step by step, Shadow Avatar one moved forward until finally entering a massive chamber.
The space wasn't bright but was adequately lit by lamps placed along the stone walls.
The soft glow revealed every corner of the cavern.
At the farthest point of the chamber sat a man on a raised stone chair.
His long hair was streaked with gray, his face lined with wrinkles.
Dressed in a dark blue robe and holding a long scythe, the man's gaze was calm and cold, exuding an aura of authority akin to that of a god of death.
Their eyes met. Neither showed the slightest fluctuation in emotion.
"Uchiha... Madara," Shadow Avatar one spoke first, his gaze locked onto Madara's Sharingan as he wondered whether the man had already awakened the Rinnegan.
"Uchiha Madara... It's been a long time since I've heard anyone address me by that name," Madara replied, his voice aged but still commanding.
He studied the young man standing before him and quickly recognized his identity.
Although Madara had remained in hiding and withdrawn from the shinobi world, it didn't mean he was ignorant of its happenings.
He had been quietly observing, waiting for the opportunity to reshape the world.
This young man, Mochizuki Hui, hailed as the next God of Shinobi, was someone Madara knew all too well—not just by his reputation, but through careful study.
"After all, in the eyes of the world, Uchiha Madara died long ago in his battle against the God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju.
"To be honest, if it weren't for being ambushed and lured here, I would never have guessed that the legendary Uchiha Madara was still alive," Shadow Avatar one said, feigning a tone of awe.
His words made Madara's expression shift slightly.
It puzzled Madara that someone had discovered his location and purposefully drawn Hui here.
Madara's thoughts raced.
From Hui's words, it was clear he hadn't known who was here before arriving, nor had he come of his own volition.
This meant someone had deliberately exposed Madara's whereabouts.
"Who led you here?" Madara asked.
"Someone. I don't know who he is, only that he hired six bounty hunters, all skilled in escape techniques, to feign an assassination attempt and lure me here," the clone replied, his expression now grave.
"Though I'm unsure of his motives, it seems I've arrived nonetheless, and even encountered you, Uchiha Madara, one of Konoha's founders," the clone continued.
Madara remained silent for a moment before speaking again.
"I never expected that someone like you, a successor of Tobirama Senju, would address me as one of Konoha's founders rather than its traitor. I wonder, would Tobirama feel he had misjudged you?"
The clone smiled confidently. "He wouldn't. He would understand my perspective."
Madara was momentarily taken aback by the response, then chuckled softly.
However, his demeanor quickly turned cold.
"You know," Madara began, his voice low and dangerous, "the person I hate most in this life is Tobirama Senju.
"As his most prized successor, your death would undoubtedly bring him immense pain, wouldn't it?"
Killing intent began to radiate from Madara as he spoke.
His hatred for Tobirama was immense, deeply rooted in the loss of his younger brother, Izuna Uchiha, someone Madara had vowed to protect.
Tobirama had caused that pain, forcing Madara to experience the anguish of losing his dearest kin once again.
Now, with Hui standing before him as Tobirama's successor, Madara's killing intent surged.
He would ensure that Tobirama felt the same pain he had endured, even in death.
