Chapter 365

In an instant, the over 100,000 enemies they had been facing completely disappeared.

Just like that, every single enemy vanished from their sight and their sensory perception, as if those people had never existed in this world.

How could one not doubt their own eyes?

Some speculated it was some kind of mass spatial transfer, but how could that be possible?

This was over 100,000 people, who could possibly have such power to instantly transport so many at once?

It was simply impossible!

Anyone capable of such a feat could no longer be considered human.

"Enma… tell me, have I fallen under a genjutsu?"

Even Hiruzen, after a moment of silence, voiced his doubt to his summon, Enma.

"This... shouldn't be the case. Unless... we were both hit by one simultaneously?"

Enma, too, was bewildered.

It reverted to its monkey form, scanning its surroundings, desperately searching for any trace of an enemy.

But there was nothing.

Those people had truly disappeared, vanishing as though they had evaporated into thin air.

"This war is over. You may return now."

Kaguya spoke to the shinobi below.

Hearing this, Hiruzen's body stiffened before he hesitantly asked, "Are you someone Hui invited to help Konoha?"

It seemed like the only plausible explanation.

"You could interpret it that way, though Hui wouldn't need to 'invite' me."

Kaguya replied calmly, her words causing a mix of relief and amazement within Hiruzen.

Indeed, it was exactly like Hui, Konoha's Third Hokage and the symbol of miracles.

Whatever happened around him always seemed extraordinary yet somehow expected.

Hiruzen wanted to ask more, but Kaguya had already lost interest. With a slight movement of her body, she disappeared from sight.

Seeing this, Hiruzen swallowed his questions and let them go.

With this, three of the four battlefields Konoha was engaged in against the world alliance declared victory.

Only one battlefield remained, the last stage for a final performance.

As for who it involved, wasn't it obvious?

It could only be Nawaki.

If Hui's battlefield symbolized an evenly matched struggle, Sakumo's battlefield reflected a slightly brutal confrontation, and Hiruzen's battlefield embodied heroic fervor, then the battlefield led by Tobirama Senju was nothing short of a one-man show.

"I'll end this war myself."

As the two armies faced off, Nawaki stepped forward, using a sound-manipulating jutsu to amplify his voice across the entire battlefield.

In an instant, all eyes were on him.

There he stood, a handsome young man, only 17 or 18 years old.

He looked so young that his face still carried traces of boyishness.

But at that moment, his expression was devoid of emotion, calm and deep.

"A brat like you thinks he can end this war? Are all Konoha shinobi this arrogant?"

A rogue shinobi taunted loudly, mocking Nawaki.

"Hey, kid over there, this isn't a ninja game!"

Someone else chimed in with more ridicule.

But they were quickly silenced by a companion.

"That guy's name is Nawaki. He wields the legendary Wood Release of the so-called God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju."

Hearing this, the first man's expression froze, and he could no longer laugh.

"So what if he has Wood Release? He's not Hashirama Senju!"

Though inwardly tense, he still refused to admit his fear out loud.

"Besides, even if Hashirama were here, there are over 100,000 of us. Are we supposed to be scared of just one person? Against us, all he could do is run!"

The man shouted defiantly, his words directed as much at his allies as at Nawaki himself.

Nawaki, hearing this, smiled faintly.

"Is that so? I didn't expect that in just over 30 years, the God of Shinobi has already been reduced to such a trivial figure in people's minds.

"But it doesn't matter.

"As the inheritor of the Wood Release… as the one who will surpass the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju… today, I'll show you what Wood Release truly is and what it means to be the God of Shinobi."

As he finished speaking, Nawaki's expression grew calm and composed.

With a clap of his hands, he unleashed his jutsu.

"Wood Release Secret Technique: Nativity of a World of Trees!"

In an instant, a vast forest sprang forth.

Trees surged up from the ground like a tsunami, spreading rapidly across the battlefield.

The torrent surged and roared, threatening to engulf everyone standing in its path.

At that moment, Nawaki freely unleashed his chakra.

He hadn't even used Sage Mode yet as it simply wasn't necessary.

Dealing with these enemies, to be honest, was far too easy for him.

After all, to Nawaki, these 100,000 enemies might as well have been just 10.

"So… so powerful! Is this truly the power of the First Hokage from back then?"

On Konoha's side, a ninja couldn't help but exclaim, his tone filled with excitement.

Having such a powerful ally on their side gave them immense reassurance for their own survival.

Who wouldn't appreciate having a formidable comrade?

"Watching Lord Nawaki reminds me so much of Lord Hashirama,"

a member of the Senju clan said, seeing traces of Hashirama Senju in Nawaki's actions.

Though Nativity of a World of Trees was already an expansive jutsu, it lacked the kind of shock-and-awe effect Nawaki desired for this battle against over 100,000 enemies.

This wasn't the result he wanted.

So, once again, he clapped his hands together.

"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Jutsu!"

A massive wooden dragon materialized on the battlefield and began relentlessly attacking the enemies below.

Each strike of the dragon killed several, sometimes dozens of people at once.

However, against such a vast number of foes, over 100,000, how long would it take for the dragon to eliminate them all through brute force?

After the wooden dragon had taken down two to three hundred enemies, Nawaki realized it was time to escalate further and use something even more powerful.

"It seems you've had a preliminary taste of the power of Wood Release. You may have glimpsed a fraction of the might of the God of Shinobi,"

Nawaki said, his voice calm and steady.

"But I think your understanding of such power is still lacking.

"Allow me to go a step further and demonstrate to you a true technique, one that belongs to the God of Shinobi, Hashirama Senju."

With that, Nawaki brought his hands together again, preparing to perform a serious jutsu.

He combined the natural energy within him with his chakra, and in an instant, his body was brimming with Sage Art-infused chakra.

Nawaki spoke once more.

"Sage Art: Wood Release—True Several Thousand Hands!"

The ground began to quake violently as an enormous figure slowly rose from the earth.

This giant was unimaginably massive, its head alone the size of a house.

When the full figure of the colossus emerged, everyone on the battlefield. Both the world alliance forces and Konoha's shinobi were utterly stunned.

Many raised their heads as high as they could, for without doing so, they couldn't even see the entirety of the colossal figure.

"I told you, I'll handle everything in this war. From now on, I will bring this war to an end.

"So… are you ready? Are you prepared to face the wrath of a god?"

Nawaki's words left everyone in a state of shock, their bodies trembling uncontrollably.

Many among the world alliance forces found their knees buckling, their weapons slipping from their hands.

Some even considered surrendering but couldn't bring themselves to utter the words.

It wasn't because of pride or dignity, it was simply because they had lost control over their own bodies, paralyzed by fear.

"Let it end—now!"

Nawaki declared, and the enormous fists of the giant rained down from the heavens, smashing relentlessly into the enemies before him.

Behind him, the Konoha forces watched, mouths agape, as they were overwhelmed by the sheer spectacle.

They had always known Nawaki was strong, but none of them had realized he was this strong.

Strong enough to single-handedly defeat such a vast enemy force with ease.

From a distance, Tobirama Senju's lips curled into a faint smile.

"This… feels so familiar,"

he said, a touch of emotion in his voice, watching Nawaki's back as if he were seeing his elder brother, Hashirama, standing there.

"This war will soon be over and an entirely new era is upon us.

"To witness the birth of two such eras….it's truly a privilege,"

Tobirama said to himself.

He understood clearly: the war was over.
