Chapter 561

Upon learning of Hui's arrival in Hueco Mundo, Aizen's first thought was that Hui had come looking for him.

It was a kind of confidence; Aizen believed that in the entire Hueco Mundo, only he was worthy of Hui's personal visit.

Before, Aizen might have weighed his options and chosen to avoid Hui.

But now, Aizen felt nothing but anticipation.

He looked forward to meeting Hui.

During their last encounter in the Soul Society, Hui had thoroughly outplayed him, using his own expertise to crush him.

He had forced Aizen to reveal his true colors in front of the Gotei 13 captains, making him lose face.

For the proud Aizen, this was an unforgettable humiliation.

He had to take revenge, and he had to defeat Hui in the same manner.

Now, he felt he possessed the power to do so.

Therefore, Aizen chuckled softly and continued, "Regardless of whether you came looking for me or not, since you've stepped onto my territory, how can I, the host, not offer you a proper welcome?"

A cold glint flashed in Aizen's eyes as he spoke.

Gin, observing from below, knew that his plan was halfway to success.

As expected, Hui was someone Aizen absolutely could not tolerate.

Ulquiorra, on the other hand, remained outwardly calm but inwardly curious.

He had always felt that their king of Hueco Mundo was unfathomable, not only in strength but also in his scheming nature.

The fact that this human boy could cause such a significant emotional fluctuation in him suggested a compelling history between them.

"Gin, Ulquiorra, let's go. Let's meet this taboo of the Soul Society, Hui!"

Aizen declared, descending from his throne and leading Gin and Ulquiorra towards Hui's location.

Meanwhile, Hui was chatting with Retsu.

"I don't think we have a high chance of finding the cause like this," Retsu said casually. She wasn't truly concerned about the reason for Hueco Mundo's changes.

Hui smiled in response. "You know, in this world, the heavier an object, the greater its gravitational pull."

Retsu remained silent, waiting for Hui to continue.

"Objects are like that, and so are people. The more powerful a person, the greater their influence on the world, the stronger their attractive force. To find the cause of Hueco Mundo's anomaly, we don't need to actively search. Someone who knows the reason will naturally come to us."

After Hui finished speaking, Retsu and Yoru were thoughtful for a moment before nodding.

They thought of Hui. Wasn't he just such a person?

Because he was powerful enough, because his influence on the world was significant enough, even if he stayed home and did nothing, there would always be someone who would actively seek him out.

Just like Yoru.

"Oh? What a coincidence. I just finished speaking and here he is," Hui suddenly spoke, the corners of his mouth curving into a meaningful smile.

Retsu and Yoru immediately looked towards where Hui was gazing.

Soon, three black dots appeared in the distance, steadily approaching them.

As the three dots drew closer, Retsu spoke in surprise, "Is that... Aizen and Gin?"

Shortly after she spoke, the three figures descended from the sky and landed in front of Hui, Retsu, and Yoru.

Aizen, with a smile on his face, glanced at Retsu and Yoru before fixing his gaze on Hui. "It's been a long time, Hui. And Captain Unohana, Captain Yoruichi."

"So, the reason for Hueco Mundo's changes is you, Aizen. You've really changed a lot," Retsu said with a hint of emotion in her voice.

The Aizen standing before her was vastly different from the gentle, refined captain she remembered. They seemed like completely different people.

"Captain Unohana is quite surprising as well. To be with the human who brought shame to the entire Soul Society, and appearing so close... Could it be that Captain Unohana intends to leave the Soul Society?" Aizen inquired, his mind racing.

He was speculating whether Hui had joined the Soul Society, or if the Gotei 13 had formed some sort of alliance with him.

Or perhaps, Captain Unohana had simply betrayed the Soul Society. After all, a Gotei 13 captain leaving the Soul Society wasn't unheard of, just like Yoru, and just like himself.

"I have no intention of betraying the Soul Society. As for why I'm with Hui... it shouldn't have anything to do with you," Retsu stated her position but didn't explain the reason for her presence in Hueco Mundo with Hui.

Aizen's eyes flickered, and a knowing smile spread across his face.

"It seems Captain Unohana has secrets she can't share. In that case, I won't pry any further."

Aizen turned his attention back to Hui. "Last time in the Soul Society, you gave me quite a memorable experience, Hui. I'm very happy you've come to Hueco Mundo. This is a meeting I've been anticipating for a long time."

Hui's lips curled into a smile.

Aizen was still as pretentious as ever.

"You've changed quite a bit. I can sense you've become stronger, and you're constantly growing stronger. That's wonderful. After all this time, it seems there's finally someone who can make me go all out." Hui's body vibrated with excitement.

Just as he said, Hui could clearly feel that Aizen was far more powerful now than when they first met.

While Aizen in this state wasn't enough to make Hui truly exert himself, it was enough to warrant his seriousness. Hui was certain that once Aizen fused more completely with the Hogyoku, he would undoubtedly provide a truly exhilarating battle.

"Really? To bring you such joy, Hui, I'm truly honored. Then, please allow me to experience that same exhilaration," Aizen responded, his smile deepening. His hairstyle, his attire, his posture – he truly exuded an aura of charismatic villainy.

"Alright, let's do it."

Hui wasted no more words. He drew his Shikai, the blade gleaming in the air.

Aizen, in turn, gripped his Kyoka Suigetsu, his smile widening as he met Hui's gaze.
