Restart, Spider-Man! [4]

For his third resurrection match, Xia Luo once again chose to hide in the alley.

"Shit, there's a pervert."

The two people in the alley had just started talking when Xia Luo skillfully hung their clothes on the high wall.

Tony was showing off his nano suit while also keeping an eye on Peter Parker, as if he were treating this resurrection match like a game.

The Chitauri soldiers, on the other hand, focused their attack on Tony, showing no interest in winning the resurrection match.

They were strictly following Thanos' orders: eliminate Iron Man at all costs.

Amid the chaos, Peter Parker was being entangled by Harry. Every time he managed to push Harry back and tried to save Gwen, he was intercepted by the Chitauri soldiers.

Spider-Man, also an Avenger, was equally on their kill list.

Once again, it was Lizard Parker who caught Gwen at the last moment.

Before the two could hit the ground, Xia Luo swung onto the clock tower balcony and shot webs from both hands, suspending the two in mid-air.

"Lizard buddy, hand her over to me. If you keep holding her, she'll die."

"Peter!"

In Lizard Parker's arms, Gwen's face lit up with joy when she saw Xia Luo, clearly misunderstanding something.

The same plot played out: after Lizard Parker caught Gwen, Xia Luo shot several webs to secure them both as they fell.

This time, the webs didn't break.

Before Xia Luo could react, a Chitauri soldier's flying vehicle crashed down, and the ensuing explosion enveloped him in flames.

Lizard Parker's gaze became dangerous, and as Xia Luo had expected, he shot webs and swung to a higher level.

An enraged Lizard Parker chased after him, recklessly smashing through the mechanical gears inside the clock tower.

As gears rained down from above, Lizard Parker didn't notice that Harry had already thrown Gwen off the roof.

The pumpkin bombs exploded, and the top of the clock tower blew apart. As the Chitauri soldiers arrived, the roaring flames shattered the glass, and Tony's nano-suit swept Gwen into the clock tower.

"Peter!"

Gwen cried out in panic, and both Lizard Parker and Peter Parker responded at the same time.

"Gwen!"

"Gwen…"

Peter Parker leapt down from the tower, while Lizard Parker, without hesitation, jumped toward Gwen.

Gears fell from the sky, and the two met in mid-air.

"Get out of my way!"

Lizard Parker's claws shredded the gears in front of him, then his tail lashed out, determined to crush the imposter.

"What?!"

Lizard Parker charged with terrifying force. Peter Parker, not daring to underestimate him, used his webs to navigate nimbly through the falling gears, dodging Lizard Parker while making his way toward Gwen.

"Ha ha ha, Peter, you won't succeed!"

The Green Goblin swooped in, launching mini-missiles from his glider, causing yet another explosion that engulfed the area.

Boom boom boom~~

"No!!"

In the stunned eyes of both Lizard Parker and Peter Parker, webs shot out, and another red-and-blue figure dove through the flames, heading straight for the falling Gwen.

Thud thud.

Shards of gears flew everywhere as Xia Luo grabbed Gwen, his back already shredded and bloody.

Barely holding on, Xia Luo gripped the webs with one hand and cradled Gwen with the other, landing steadily on the ground, before his legs gave way.

Next to him, Gwen's body convulsed as blood poured from her abdomen.

Her eyes filled with fear, she tried to speak but was choking on blood.

Turning her head, she saw the dying Spider-Man beside her, and the terror in her eyes gradually faded.

At that moment, Xia Luo witnessed every detail of Gwen's death.
