Lizard Parker hesitated, and as Xia Luo raised two fingers, Gwen's figure flashed past the window.
"Gwen!"
At that moment, Lizard Parker didn't care about anything else and smashed through the window, diving after Gwen.
Xia Luo stood up, dusted off his hands, and carefully observed the battle inside the clock tower without participating.

Without looking back at the explosions, Tony quickly rushed into the clock tower.

The clock tower continued to explode, sending gears flying everywhere.
On top of a massive gear, Tony locked his eyes on one of the Spider-Men.
Amidst the falling debris, Xia Luo was whistling cheerfully, calmly dodging the flying gears as he strolled leisurely through the chaotic battle.
"Ha ha ha, Peter."
At this moment, Harry swooped down on his glider but crashed headfirst into the webs that had been set up in advance.
"Shit."

Harry bounced around and crashed into the ruins of the clock tower. The real Peter Parker and Lizard Parker both leapt toward Gwen, but after a brief struggle, they watched as Gwen was snatched away by Xia Luo's web.
It was as if everything had been rehearsed in advance, all under Xia Luo's control.

Lizard Parker howled as he crawled out of the rubble and continued his pursuit. The previous attack hadn't been enough to take him down.
Tony tried to stop him but was intercepted by the remaining Chitauri soldiers.
"Hand her over to me!!"
Gears rained down like a storm as Lizard Parker rampaged through the clock tower like a wild beast.
Peter Parker dove down to stop Lizard Parker, but Harry smashed into him, sending him flying.
"Ha ha ha, your fight is with me."
"Peter, I told you, I'm going to make you feel the pain of losing a loved one." Harry's jagged teeth flashed as he laughed, his hereditary illness having driven him completely mad.
He hated himself, his father, Peter Parker, the world, and everything good in it.
"Let's destroy everything together!!"
"Harry, stop!"
The battle between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin grew fiercer, while Lizard Parker was rapidly closing in on Xia Luo.
His greedy eyes were locked on the figure in front of him, his sharp claws extending.
Just a little more, just a little more, and he could tear this guy apart.
Sharp gears occasionally slashed through Xia Luo's suit, and the smell of blood quickly overwhelmed Lizard Parker's senses.

Lizard Parker came to his senses, his ferocious expression softening.
Even though he knew the Peter Gwen cared about wasn't him, he made a choice.
"You're not her…" he murmured softly, as if saying goodbye.
In his eyes, Gwen's face gradually blurred.
But he had seen it clearly!
She was Gwen, not Spider-Man.
"Imposter, you win!!"
The next moment, Lizard Parker's heart-wrenching roar echoed through the clock tower as he pushed Xia Luo and Gwen away, right before a massive gear fell and crushed his body.

As the giant gear slammed into the ruins, Lizard Parker's figure disappeared completely.
Amid the dust, Xia Luo swung down to the ground with his web. Gwen, still shaken, looked at the ruins in front of her, her expression filled with complex emotions.
"He saved us."
Xia Luo let out a breath. "Yes, he would have saved you." He said it with certainty.
After restarting so many times, he was sure of it—Lizard Parker truly wanted Gwen to live, and it had nothing to do with the resurrection match.
However, the unfamiliar voice made Gwen suddenly realize something was off.
