Chapter 136
"What… thank God I have the potion that allows me to return 24 hours after I died," he thought as he recalled the potion he created after making the soul shield potions. As he thought back to how he died, he got up, trying to think of what just happened before he finally realized what he was dealing with. "Ah, fuck this damn shimmer potion," he cursed as he recalled how painful it was to have his domain shattered, which he didn't know could be shattered, just to then remember how he died, which he didn't know. "This is a disaster, a bigger threat than Trigon," he thought as he entered Pangea and got to work formulating a plan. He rummaged through his recipes, quickly putting aside his god recipe as he focused on what was currently achievable. He first checked his ingredients, from the first fragment of the comic's horror that nearly destroyed the TARDIS to the domain of destruction from Viridian, to the blood of the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet, to the Hexcore and Viktor's blood, to LeBlanc's blood, as well as the 10 herbs that spawned as the dew was condensing in the Witcher world. "Ok, I can work with this," he said as he scrambled to work.
Although he had recipes that could theoretically enhance his domain, he was lacking ingredients—other domains, to be exact—so he didn't think about it, which, for someone who prided himself on being prepared, finally caught him unprepared. "Just like with Trigon," he cursed in anger as he broke an empty vial before he composed himself. "Ok, ok, getting angry won't solve the problem," he thought as he finally turned his attention to the 10 herbs. "Ok, ok, they are about to mature, I can use them, I can use them," he said as he started to work on the potion. But as he was working on the potion, Pangea was suddenly destabilized, as it began to break down. "GRAY!" Rachel's panicked voice sounded as she entered Pangea. She was disheveled and gravely injured. "What the hell are you doing? There is a great cosmic horror outside that shattered my domain," she asked as Gray said, "I know, I already died to it once," he explained as Rachel looked confused.
"What?" she asked as Gray continued the brewing process, which was extremely hard as this process was supposed to take place over several days, but he was doing it in hours. "Remember that time potion I made after the Chimera potion? It allows me to return 24 hours after I died," he explained quickly as Rachel looked at him. "How many times have you died?" she asked as Gray yelled, "Once! Grab that herb and crush it into a paste," he instructed Rachel, who did just that. Although she wasn't an alchemist, she was powerful enough to follow alchemical procedures carefully. While they were brewing, the creature not only destroyed the TARDIS but also broke open the sky of Pangea as it attacked. "Oh shit," he cursed as he lost consciousness, waking up back in the captain's deck. "This is fucking insane, what the hell kind of attack is that?" he asked as he got up and rudely awakened Rachel. "What is wrong?" she asked as he entered Pangea, which she followed. "There is an oncoming cosmic horror with a mysterious attack that wipes us out immediately without even putting up a single defense. We have 24 hours to make a potion, come and help," he explained quickly.
Rachel was momentarily confused, but she didn't stop moving as she asked, "And did you look into the future?" she asked as Gray sighed. "Sort of. Remember that time potion I made that I didn't tell you its effect? It allows me to return 24 hours after death," he explained, stunning Rachel, who asked, "And how many times have we died?" she asked as Gray replied, "Two times. Now come on, this potion requires days of hard work, which I need to cram into 24 hours," he said as both he and Rachel got to work. Unfortunately, they didn't make it in time as Rachel was too slow in his opinion, even though she was so fast that even Snape wouldn't be able to follow a single step of hers, and the cosmic horror came along with death. Gray sighed as this time he didn't even speak. Instead, he chanted and waved his wand to quickly retrieve the memories of the last three deaths and quickly woke up Rachel. "What is wrong?" she asked as Gray then showed her the memories, which quickly got her out of her trance, and they got to work. This time, they were faster than before since they already did the procedure and remembered the exact thing they did, so she was faster but still not fast enough. They died again for the fourth time, then again, and this time they were even faster than before, which finally allowed them to successfully brew the potion.
"Finally, finally, it's done!" Gray yelled as Pangea was cracked and shaking as it was about to be broken.
[Name: Elixir of Elemental Ascension]

[Deterioration-Rate: 100%, the freshness of the potion]
"Consume the damn potion!" Rachel yelled as Gray did just that. He consumed it, allowing him to evolve his magic to a level just above his current level. It was nearing the divine level of magic, akin to that of a god, as Pangea finally faded away, dying, which Gray could feel. "I am sorry, little one, I will avenge you," he apologized as he could feel Pangea was actually gaining sentience. As he and Rachel stared at the cosmic horror, they both didn't bring out their domains, as they would get shattered. "Let's do this," he said as they both relied on her magic.
The void stretched infinitely, a vast abyss where time and space unraveled into nothingness. Floating remnants of broken worlds drifted like the corpses of forgotten civilizations—the shattered TARDIS, a fractured Pangaea, the skeletal remains of cosmic leviathans long since devoured. Here, in the heart of entropy, Rachel and Gray unleashed the full force of their godlike might upon Y'thural-Zog.
Rachel hovered, her Soul-Self spreading out like an ethereal tempest, black raven wings darkening the remnants of light in the cosmos. Her domain surged into existence, a sphere of celestial will imposing order upon the void. Within it, the twisted laws of reality bent to her command, crystallized barriers of radiant light blooming like supernovas, ethereal spires clawing toward the great horror. Her magic surged through the vast expanse, the purest expression of her will coalescing into a cosmic storm.
Gray stood beside her, suspended in the abyss, his form a beacon of raw, unshackled power. He had surpassed magic—he was magic incarnate. The mere flex of his will distorted the void, his aura warping space into a cascading kaleidoscope of energy. Spells formed and unraveled around him, galaxies of destruction collapsing into singularities of annihilation. His magic did not need words; it was woven into existence itself. Together, they struck.
