Lumina and Kuroe

Currently riding a small boat are two girls. One is older with a beautiful slender figure. The other girl has twin tails and a cute, grumpy expression.

"Hey Lumina, I desire to return to that town."

"That's unattainable as we are already in close proximity to the dungeon. Reverting is not an option."

"What?! You have compelled me to come here despite my aversion to venturing out."

"Kuroe, as a recluse, there comes a point where you must step outside. Your family exiled you because you were viewed as a burden and a squanderer of space."

"They lack insight; do they comprehend how many individuals are eager to care for someone as cute as myself?"

Kuroe's egotism and arrogance pose a significant challenge, Lumina.

"Yes, numerous unsightly individuals are drawn to a petite, sassy girl like yourself."

"Unsightly individuals, how repulsive... perhaps a prince will be enamored by my charm alone. We shall reside in a grand castle, indulge in delectable feasts, and raise 20 offspring."

"You are destined for early motherhood. Furthermore, why 20 offspring?"

"I aspire to create a baseball team."

"Give it your all."

The boat departed to the land. The two girls get their bags and started walking toward the Crystal Dragon dungeon.

Lumina and Kuroe, much like all others, aspire to acquire the formidable power concealed within the dungeon, capable of annihilating the world.

It is merely a prophecy, yet it has captivated the interest of numerous adventurers and kingdoms alike.

The allure of possessing such power is undeniable, for with it, the prospect of dominion over all becomes within reach. Particularly now, when they find themselves devoid of any other purpose, the allure of capturing the dungeon for quick riches beckons them.

"Lumina, when we capture this dungeon and became rich. What is the first thing you will do with our money."

Asked Kuroe.

"Me? I wanted to build a house in a rural area where peaceful days can be found. I will raise cows and eat cheese. I also, want to read a novel while drinking my favorite tea."

Kuroe's expression of disappointment goes up in the stratosphere.

"What the hell is that, can achieve that by doing an ordinary job. Why drag me on such a dangerous mission with you?"

"Then, how about you?"

"With that much money, I wanted a mansion, food, beauty products, expensive bags, watches, and a million dress. Somewhere in my journey, I will find love. We will have the best beach wedding and live like royalty in our mansion."

Kuroe's imagination swallows her reality again. She really likes diving into her daydreams.

Meanwhile, Lumina stay calm and look around the area. Despite being two young girls Lumina and Kuroe are both considered powerful adventurers. Lumina is a genius light magic user meanwhile Kuroe is sharp in using her sword skill.

However, their exceptional qualities have unfortunately made them targets of suffering.

One fateful day, the torment reached its peak, prompting Kuroe to inadvertently harm a classmate during sword practice, resulting in her expulsion.

News of her expulsion spread rapidly throughout the town, isolating her within the confines of her room.

Supported by her compassionate mother, Kuroe found solace in her challenging circumstances.

"Kuroe... Life presents challenges, but you must persevere," her mother would often remind her.

While lying in bed, Kuroe would whisper to herself, "Fool, you cannot even defend your own rights." Upon hearing these words, her mother would cast a sorrowful gaze.

Kuroe's utterance stemmed from the anguish of witnessing her father's infidelity and her mother's silent suffering. Despite the oppressive environment, Kuroe, small and feeble, remained powerless to confront the injustices.

Enduring the onslaught of derogatory remarks and malicious gossip, she would find refuge in tears, venting her frustration on pillows and bedding.

"Why am I subjected to such scorn? What have I done to deserve this treatment? Please, try to comprehend even a fraction of my turmoil," Kuroe would sob night after night.

As time passed, tragedy struck with the loss of her mother. Swiftly replaced, Kuroe found herself exiled from her own home.

Lumina is a proficient practitioner of magic at her esteemed school. She is widely admired and lacks adversaries. In contrast to Kuroe, her existence is imbued with joy and contentment. Blessed with a close-knit and affectionate family, as well as a plethora of companions.

However, an unsettling feeling begins to creep in.

Lumina effortlessly excels in all spheres - be it physical, magical, intellectual, or otherwise. Her consistent ascent to the upper echelons has left her feeling disenchanted.

Then, one fateful day, she encounters Kuroe, who is in a state of deprivation.

"A mere child."

"What is the meaning behind those piercing eyes? Do they harbor disdain towards me?" Asked Kuroe.

"I assure you, that is not the case. I am simply intrigued as to why a comely maiden like yourself is seated in the shadows of the street."

"That is of no concern to you. You looks like a noble."

Lumina's gaze falls upon the sword clutched tightly by Kuroe, cradled as if it were the most precious possession in the world.

"That sword, are you a swordsman?"

"And if I were... What is your intention?"

"Engage in a bout with me... I perceive that you have not eaten anything in quite some time. Let us engage in a duel. My magic against your blade. Should you emerge victorious, I shall provide you food."

Thus spoke Lumina.

The rumbling of Kuroe's stomach propels her to her feet.

"I accept your gracious offer."

Subsequently, their sparring commences. The clash between Kuroe and Lumina results in Lumina's defeat.

The swiftness of Kuroe's sword is so formidable that Lumina's magical prowess falters.

"This marks my inaugural defeat. Remarkable. This sensation of defeat."

"Shut up and give me my food."

True to her word, Lumina feeds Kuroe.

Their odyssey commences, forging them into a formidable duo. Embarking on a journey as wanderers, they ascend the ranks within the guild.

Presently, they set their course towards a fabled dungeon rumored to house the cataclysmic power capable of destroying the world.
