The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

My mother follows me to my room, I have so many questions and doubts about myself and her, as soon as we reach my room I go in and she does too.

"Mom, you can sit wherever you like...I'll wait." She checks out my room as I imagined she would, she looks at the Zephyra statue for a while and then at the posters on the wall.

There are posters of Mikael and Delphina, she seems displeased with the Delphina ones as she observes them for a while, but doesn't say anything about them and just sits on my bed.

"You can ask your questions, daughter." She says in a tone almost too loving, she knows why I wanted to talk to her so much, I have many doubts about various things and there are also things I want to know.

"...Why did you choose me?" I don't understand this, I don't understand why I was chosen, I'm very grateful for it, but I'm still curious, why did she choose me specifically? Didn't she have other options? And if she did, why was I the chosen one.
