In Shire Reckoning 1340, about one year before Thorin Oakenshield's company would depart for Erebor, when Gandalf had yet to visit the Shire and the Smaug still slumbered beneath the Lonely Mountain, a human with a Minecraft system arrives in Middle-earth.
Garrett crash-lands near Hobbiton with full game mechanics, inventory slots, crafting abilities, hunger bars, and the power to punch trees into perfect blocks. After befriending Bilbo Baggins through his system-enhanced cooking skills, he sets out to establish a base in the wilderness, planning to be ready when the great events unfold.
What follows is the rise of the legendary 'Bane of the Orcs.' Why not give Garrett's adventure a try? Come and join him!

As I said, this is a request:

Here is my reply to a reviewer. I believe it will answer most of the accusations... ehm, questions --- --- First of all, I didn't copy from him. The only thing I copied is the raw, which the other TL is using as well. Knowing that both are tl means that we are both copying the raw, which makes sense. Second, this is a request, which I even stated in the synopsis. It was requested about two months ago or so, but some rl things happened and I didn't post anything for more than a month. The screenshot was when I had already translated some chapters and did the poll. Third, after doing some research due to a reviewer saying that your TL, Dark_Peace, copied from another (again, he didn't copy, the only thing he used is the raw; I checked it, and both translations are different). The other TL is DarkSpirit_King. I don't know if it is Dark_Peace's first acc or something due to similar naming, but anyway, the tl is different and he didn't copy. DarkSpirit_King posted chapters (120 btw) 7 months ago. Personally, after confirming, Dark_Peace's tl is better than DarkSpirit_King's. Fourth, if you really read my tl and compared it with the others, then you will of course realize that things are similar, because they are translations with the same source. The only thing I did differently was put in my style, and I tried to retain correct names from lore. And the residents are talking more medieval, because I find it suits it more. If you didn't like my take, so be it. You don't have to read my version, but by going by your logic, you should have given LOTR: Bringing an MC System to Middle-Earth a one-star review due to "copying" from Bringing the MC system to Middle-earth by DarkSpirit_King. Another point about why my chapter release count was similar: again, it was a request! Meaning the person requesting it likely read somewhere, the chances are high that it was Dark_Peace's tl. So I of course need to release that amount. I mean if I took the request and the requester needs to wait another month... why should he wait so long? I translated around 60 chapters in 7 days. And that already took me a lot of time. I roughly need 20 mins for translating (if we are going by 1.4k word count). That time accounts for me high-speed reading it, confirming raw source names with the actual source (because I don't speak Chinese, so I need to research if the names are correct), name of mods correct? Mod terms correct? etc. If I need to research long, then the time for me to finish translating one chapter is 30+ mins. So, I gave myself 1 week when I posted the 10 chapters on July 7. When we say I need 20 mins, just for calculating, and my goal was around 10 chapters a day. That means 20×10=200 minutes which is 3.33 hours a day only for this tl. I don't know if the others need less time. I would even be happy if they could tell me their tricks, but due to reading the chapter etc., I need at least 20 minutes. I believe I was quite transparent, I stated it was a request, I put in the raw. But I don't need to please everyone. If you don't like it, you don't like it, but at least I believe update stability atm is at least 4 stars.
This story is a copy of LOTR: Bringing an MC System to Middle-Earth. Comparing the chapters it is clear that this author is merely editing someone else’s work to change names and sentence structure, whether that plagiarism is from the previously stated fiction, or a Chinese raw that is being translated, I do not know. Don’t waste ur time here and go read the other version.
It was a lot better than i thought, I recommend this as is is a great read
I was excited for nothing ... I thought it was lotm Minecraft but no ..
Good translation, history with adaptation, also a very interesting mine system harmoniously integrated into the world. .,..................,... .,..................,... .,..................,... .,..................,...
I like this book. I don't know if Steve aged. If not, Garrett may be around for the next adventure. Maybe he an Bilbo could take a trip to Mordor. More "experiments".
I thought it was a pretty fun story. I like the idea of minecraft powers in LOTR, and this delivers that. This is a translated story, but it's really well done. I never would have guessed this wasn't an English original. I have read the other translated version but I like this one better. Fewer errors and the dialogue feels more natural for a LOTR setting. Takes place during "The Hobbit". Review at 113. ~171k word count.
É uma tradução muito boa, e com uma taxa de lançamento de capítulos excelente. Ótimo trabalho. Houve uma discussão se era cópia de outra história, mas acabou que o autor já esclareceu tudo.
this is a copy of LOTR Bring a MC System to Middle Earth by Dark_Peace. Seems pretty scummy to translate a novel already being translated for a month and is sitting at rank 25. The translation is worse and this translator is spamming chapters to out pace the original translator. Shame on you.
