There was a crowd at the front of the apartment's gate. From concerned neighbors, curious bystanders, and food stall vendors. The crowd gasped and muttered upon seeing a masked and bloodied Frizz exit the apartment, they instantly gave way while some recorded the encounter.
Frizz entered the vehicle, satisfied with the answers from the forced confession. He slammed the door closed, looking straight ahead. Never breaking focus.
His appearance looked even bloodier than before, a fact that didn't escape the rather coerced designated driver. He handed Dabid de la Cruz a bloodied piece of paper, written were the addresses of several cartel locations.
"Go. As fast as possible." Frizz declared, peering out the front passenger window.
The driver nodded, putting on a seatbelt. "A mask, huh? Do you mind if I wear one too sir?" He asked, worried about being recognized.
"Sure. Whatever." Frizz answered as the vehicle, a white pick-up truck, started and drove to the nearest address written on the bloodied piece of paper.
"Sir, the police may follow us...." Dabid said in concern, sweating.
"Let them come and see. I don't care anymore."
There was a pause, a slight hesitation before raising another concern. "We're also almost out of gas."
Frizz sighed, massaging his eyebrows.
Three minutes later...
"Unleaded or premium?" The gas station attendant asked, beaming a polite smile.
"Premium. One thousand pesos." Dabid answered handing out a bill, voice shaky.
The gas station attendant accepted the payment, beaming another smile. "Start zero, sir."
Eight minutes later...
They've arrived at their next location. It was a bar named 'Drinkies'. Frizz got out of the vehicle, instantly kicking the glass door and shattering it. The nightclub was empty since it was still in the day.
However, there were several patrons at the counter, already imbibing.
The people inside were alerted, surprised by the sudden loud entrance. Spotting a bloodied masked figure dual-wielding two baseball bats. The bar bouncer clicked his tongue, rapidly approaching the bloodied figure.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing!?" The bouncer said, raising and training a gun. "Michael, call the police! Now!"
*Whack!* The bouncer dropped to the floor, mouth heavily bleeding as several broken teeth were sprawled all over the tiled floor.
"If you're not part of the cartel that owns this place then leave. I will not ask again." Frizz declared as a white foreigner and a woman hurriedly exited the nightclub by the other entrance.
"Six left..." Frizz muttered, glancing at their karmic levels. They were all in the negatives, the lowest one was -401. He knew that they were all part of a cartel. He could go all out.
(The one with the lowest karmic value should be the enforcer that fat-bellied guy was talking about. He should know more about the leader of this cartel.)
"I was content with being aimless. I was content with breaking bones. I was content with being boring and lazy. Why did you have to kill my brother? I am sorry but I must kill you all too. It's only fair."
The six cartel members were confused, looking at each other before drawing out their guns and shooting at Frizz. *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*
Frizz sought cover behind a pillar, still wielding two baseball bats. (My forcefield is a bit drained. I should be careful.) He said, putting away his two baseball bats and pulling out an M1911 pistol from his inventory.
The barrage of gunfire stopped, giving him time to aim and fire. *Bang!* Accurately shooting the head of one of the guards, killing them.
*Bang!* He got another one, this time shooting the chest. The man writhed in pain, spasming on the floor then finally dying.
*Bang!* He was almost hit in the hand, he subconsciously shifted. *Bang!* He was barely grazed in the left shoulder, barely noticing the two men closing the distance. *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!*
The two men unloaded their pistols but Frizz dodged every bullet by either shifting or tilting. He snapped to the two, cleanly and accurately shooting their heads. They collapse to the ground.
*Bang!* He was shot in the head, shattering his forcefield and sending a wide telekinetic explosion that destroyed all the glass products, from the alcohol bottles to the glasses.
*Bang!* He shot the man who shot him in the head, their eyeballs popped out from the sheer bullet force. The body spasmed on the floor before finally stopping.
There was only one man left, the cartel enforcer. The man was bleeding from the right leg, lodged by a glass shard due to the telekinetic explosion.
Frizz approached the bleeding man, stomping on the injury. "Who is your leader? Tell me and I will spare you."
The man screamed in pain, almost tearing up. "Please, stop!" He muttered as Frizz placed more pressure on the injury, causing more bleeding.
There was a loud thud from behind but Frizz ignored it. Thinking it was nothing. The man grinned, chuckling loudly.
"You want to meet one of our leaders? Look behind."
Frizz's eyes bulged in surprise, narrowly dodging an attack.
"You twitchy piece of shit. I will fucking kill you and mutilate your fucking corpse." It was Cheng Gou, the Heavy. He resurrected again.
(Like a goddamned cockroach, always coming back again and again.) Frizz's eyes narrowed, he wasn't pleased to see that ugly mug again.
"Enrage, Ignition, Fortress, Great Ward, Death Ward." Cheng activated several skills, though Frizz didn't know what they exactly were, he had a rough idea due to his intuition talent.
(Enrage must be a skill to increase damage resistance. Ignition to increase the speed, fortress is obvious since I have that, great ward must be a physical damage defense boost, and death ward must be some sort of death delaying skill.)
Frizz thought as he dodged several fast attacks. *Whack!* He was hit in the chest. Cheng managed to feint a strike, fooling Frizz.
"Your dodging perk is nice but if you keep relying on it. You'll fucking die. So keep relying on it!" Cheng shouted, delivering a double-handed slam to the ground and producing a cloud of thick smoke dust.
"You're right," Frizz replied, alerting Cheng and causing him to rush in the voice's direction.
"I won't rely on it, anymore." The moment the smoke cleared, Frizz was holding a shotgun. A Mossberg 500 shotgun. The sight caused Cheng Gou to hesitate but was too late to flee.
"Flashbang!" A white flash burst from Frizz, causing Cheng to be blinded.
*Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* *Bang!* Frizz unloaded the shotgun on Cheng, staggering his opponent further with each consecutive shot.
Cheng Gou let out a huge roar and then charged, tackling Frizz straight to the ground again. His fists glowed in reddish light, striking Frizz straight in the face. *Wham!*
The force was enough to crack the tiled floor and send tremors. Dabid, the truck driver outside, cursed as he felt the earth shake. The injured cartel enforcer stood up, limping. Trying to see through the smoky surroundings.
"You're a monster, Boss Cheng. You're out of this world. I will contact Boss Matthew, and tell him that the problem is now solved."
"Matthew. I'd like to meet him." Frizz's voice echoed, terrifying the injured cartel enforcer. He slowly turned to the voice's direction, spotting the collapsed body of Cheng Gou.
"H-haa... M-m-monster."
(He's somewhat right. His boss should be level fifty. How is he losing to me? By stats alone, he should've killed me. Are third rates really that stunted when it comes to leveling?)
