EDWINA
Today made it a month since I ended things with Kieran.
And he still was not talking to me.
The small part of me that was hoping he would come back to me got crushed, and I decided to let go.
I asked him to leave me, to walk away, and he did.
How could I possibly blame him?
Except I did. I blamed him so much.
Not that it mattered anymore though. I bet he wasn't even thinking about me constantly like I did.
"Mummy! I'm done," my son called out to me as he ran over, his shirt tails flying behind him.
"No, you're not. Your shirt needs to be tucked in, and where are your shoes?" I raised my eyebrows.
Noah raced back to his room and came out back almost immediately, holding two pair of shoes.
"I don't know which one to wear."
"Hmm. What colour do you like best today?" I asked as I tucked in his shirt. He thought about my question for a while before he answered.
