"Her Amnesia is the retrograde type, and well, it will be very hard for her to remember. We can't decide yet if it's going to be permanent, but we hope it isn't. All we have to do is wait, and hope the memory comes back to her," the doctor explained.
I nodded, the ache in my heart still sharp and raw.
"Okay, okay. Is there anything we can do to…you know, help jog her memory or something?" I asked.
A contemplative look crossed the doctor's face, and he nodded after a short moment.
"Well, pictures can help. And then, maybe talking about memories of places you've been. Recreating some scenes might be of great use too, but I want to warn you, please don't try to force the memory.
Trying to force her to remember might end up with her not remembering anything, which would be a bad thing, I suppose. Just go with the flow," he cautioned.
