KIERAN
I was a in a meeting when Edwina's call came in.
Excusing myself, I thought she probably wanted to ask a question or something.
But the moment I heard the sound of her tears from the other side of the phone, my heart flew into my throat immediately.
Without thinking about it, I ended the meeting halfway, and drove home immediately.
My mind went overdrive as I raced home. I didn't know what could have happened to make my woman, my wife, one of the strongest person I know, cry like that.
I tried to calm down, but it was impossible.
She needed me. My wife was having a panic attack and I needed to be there for her.
The moment I saw the police officials and a handcuff dangling over Nancy's hands, I immediately knew it had something to do with that Nanny.
I spared her none of my attention though, my entire attention on my wife and wife alone.
