NOAH
"Family meeting. Downstairs. Now."
"Go away, Hari," I groaned.
"I'm serious, Noah. Everyone is waiting for you. Mum threatened to come over here with a bucket of water if you don't get your ass up now."
I sighed, pissed and irritated at once.
Sitting up, I turned to face my sister. Harriet didn't look as if she was kidding.
"You're serious?"
She nodded.
"What the hell man? Why is mum here?"
The engagement party had ended way past midnight, and by the time Ciara and I drove back to my house, it was around two am in the morning.
I was too restless to sleep, and a large part of me just wanted to get rid of that party in my head so I went straight to my study to work instead.
It wasn't until eight am this morning that I finally trudged to bed. And now my mother was here at…eleven am?
Again, what the hell?
