CIARA
A small knock sounded on my door.
"Come in," I called out to whoever it was. The door slowly pushed open, and my brother stepped inside.
His lips curled into a wide smile when he saw me, his entire expression turning into one of happiness.
"Oh my goodness, Beth, you look so damn gorgeous," he whistled as he took me in, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
I fought the small smile that was creeping on my face.
"Shut up, Jeremy."
He sat down beside me and threw his arm around my shoulders.
"Actually, I am being serious. You look so beautiful in the wedding gown, sweetheart. Love the hair on you too."
I sighed and said nothing.
Today was my wedding day.
Well, my fake wedding day.
I knew it wasn't a real ceremony, it was just a party to help sell our story.
