Self confidence.

When I went to school the next day, teacher Evelyn told us that we had the prom at the Blake highschool and we had to go there. The prom was tomorrow,and I still didn't buy any makeup for the prom. I didn't have a friend to go to Sephora with except Ryan. So I decided to call him, since it would be weird to go alone. I called him, and asked him if he could go to Sephora ,to buy makeup with me. He told me that he would love to come with me since he also had to buy some makeup for his mother,as a gift. He told me that he was going to ask me to go with him anyways. We decided to go to Sephora at 5 pm. I got dressed,and today,I was a bit nervous about the dress I was going to wear. So,I decided to wear one of the dresses I bought when I went to buy a dress with Ryan. I was waiting for him at the bus stop,since he told me that he would come to pick me up. He came after 5 minutes,and was staring at me like he saw me for the first time. Ryan's thoughts: why did she wear this dress!? And why the heck does she look so good in it? And why do I care about it so much? I should have worn something good today too. I don't know why, but her dress is looking too pretty on her. I told Ryan to get on the bus since we were already late. When we reached Sephora, I asked Ryan If he would like to come inside and shop with me. He told me that he would love to since he had to buy makeup for his mother too. I started with the foundation first,and it took me 20 minutes to find my shade. This was the first time I was,going on a prom and this was also my first time doing makeup. I was having trouble choosing a lip shade,so I asked Ryan to choose one for his mother first since, it might take me more time to choose one for his mother. He chose one for his mother, and chose one for me too. He told me that the maroon one was looking good on me and he said that it was a gift from his side. I told him to let it be and that,I didn't need a gift from him. He told me that he was giving it to me because he wanted to celebrate our friendship. I accepted it,after taking a few more makeup products,we left the store. Ryan dropped me home,even though I didn't ask him to. He asked me if I could come to select shoes for him since he didn't have much experience. I asked him if he went on a prom before,he told me that he didn't. I agreed,and we decided to meet the next day. He told me that he would come pick me up. We had time in the morning,since we had to go to the prom in the evening. We went to buy a some shoes together. Ryan asked me to select a pair of shoes for him,since he couldn't select one. I chose a pair of dark brown shoes for him. He told me that he will choose one for me too and he chose a turquoise one. He told me that,he's gifting it to me,I refused and told him that I didn't need it since I already have heels. He told me that my dress was light blue in colour and turquoise would look good with light blue. I had to accept his gift since I didn't want to upset him. After leaving that shopping mall,Ryan again,dropped me home and told me that he would again,come to pick me up in the evening. I told him that he didn't need to but he said that it would be dangerous for me to come alone in the evening. I went home and took a nap,I told Lily to wake me up after an hour. I woke up after an hour,took a bath and got ready for the prom. I also applied the lipstick Ryan gifted me and wore the turquoise shoes gifted by Ryan. In the evening,I received a call from Ryan,he told me that he came to pick me up with his dad. He said that it was dangerous to travel by a bus in the evening,so his father suggested to drop him. He said that he was waiting for me,right infront of my house. I told him that I was coming down in 5 minutes. I always keep my hair tied up,but today I wanted to keep them down. So I did,and when I looked at myself in the mirror,I was looking like the most beautiful girl in the whole world. I couldn't believe that, I was looking so beautiful. I wore my heels and went down. I went outside and sat into the car. Ryan's mother was also there,she told me that I was looking very beautiful and she didn't have any words to describe my beauty. After reaching the Blake highschool,we went inside the hall,where the prom was being held. Ryan was my partner,and we had to dance together. I asked him,if he knew how to dance and when I looked at him,he was already staring into my soul. He told me that I was looking very beautiful and he didn't except me to look like this. He told me that he did knew how to dance and asked me if I knew how to dance,I told him that I did know how to dance and was very excited to dance with him.
