Chapter 100: Madison

“I have a bit of business I’d like to go over with you before tomorrow.” Trenton gestures for me to sit on the nearby sofa. “We want tomorrow to be a day of celebration and remembrance. Thus, I’ve already sat with my sisters regarding the will.”

I look to Taylor and Cameron. Both smile and join us in the living room. Hamilton takes my hand in his as he sits beside me on the sofa.

“Mother, as you know, was very fond of Liberty and you.” He clears his throat before continuing. “She amended her will with a clause that her house can’t be sold until you and Liberty find a place to live. She wants you to have a place to stay while you make other arrangements. And the three of us agree.  We all love you like a little sister; we want to make sure you are taken care of, and we hope you will allow us to continue to be in your life.”
