Chapter 106: Madison

With Liberty tucked safely in her portable crib in the room next to ours, I fall on our king-sized bed. Hamilton emerges, fresh from a shower, in his shorts as he snags a t-shirt from his bag. I admire the sculpted contours of his muscular abs and chest. My eyes delight in the sight of a new tattoo near his heart. I place my hand over my mouth to hide my shock when I realize he’s going to flip when he finds my tattoo.

“I hope you aren’t too upset they were here tonight,” Hamilton states, sliding his shirt over his head.

“At first, I was,” I confess honestly. “I wanted our first night to be the three of us. Delta was right though; we didn’t plan for food or drinks. Besides, I had fun. They’re easy to talk to.” I yawn before continuing. “I’m nervous to meet your teammates and even more nervous about meeting their wives and girlfriends.” I quirk my mouth to one side. “Stan and Delta seem normal, and I absolutely love their kids.”
