Chapter 114: Hamilton

“I’ll tuck her in,” I offer.

Madison nods, fixing a water in the kitchen while chatting with Indie and McGee at her feet.

“The guys let the dogs out an hour ago, so they are ready for bed,” I inform as I carry my sleeping daughter to her room.

I turn on the small bedside lamp then pull back the blankets. Liberty barely stirs as I lay her on the bed. I contemplate waking her for the bathroom or covering her up as is. I decide her dress wouldn’t be comfortable sleepwear, so I gently lower the zipper and remove it. I unbuckle her black shoes and tug off her frilly socks. Pulling up the sheet and comforter, I tuck her in. My little girl looked like a princess tonight.
