I’m so happy that I can’t stop smiling. The gang is all here. Hamilton and Stan return from working out and finish their showers prior to Fallon and Slater arriving. A few minutes later, Taylor’s husband and girls arrive with Trenton’s brood.


The kids play in Liberty’s room or with electronics in our room, occasionally popping out for a nibble or a drink. The men flip back and forth between college and NFL football games in the living room. They even agree to lower the volume when Delta hollers in from the kitchen area.


When the service elevator pings open and the dog walkers peek in, I’m surprised it is already 11. I round up the dogs and make the guys promise to fix a plate and stay a bit when they return at one with McGee and Indie.
