Chapter 5 Am I Not As Handsome As Madara?

"Uncle Madara! I'm heading back now! I had so much fun with you today!" Dave said as Madara escorted him near the Senju station.

Dave turned to look at Madara with a smile.

"Alright, head back early," Madara replied with a smile she thought was rather pretty.

Madara watched Dave's small figure walking away. Just as she was about to leave, suddenly, there was a sound of wind. Uchiha Madara reacted by kicking behind him, but his exposed Sharingan stopped when he realized it was Dave. His leg froze mid-air.

"See, I knew Uncle Madara wouldn't hurt me. I'll give you this when I get back! Mua~ Good night, Uncle Madara! Sweet dreams!" Dave jumped up, gave Uchiha Madara a quick kiss on the cheek, and then ran off.

Uchiha Madara stood there in a daze, his left hand resting on the spot where Dave had kissed him, standing alone in the wind.

"Hey, hey, hey, Dave's already left. That's my nephew! We only spent half a day together, and now it looks like he's closer to you than to me!" Senju Hashirama appeared next to Madara, his face full of playful resentment.

"Who knows? Maybe you're just not as handsome as me," Madara replied, her face returning to its usual cold expression.

"Hey, hey, hey! I'm not as handsome as you? It must be that my little nephew has no taste, okay?" Hashirama shouted angrily, pointing at Madara.

"Let's go, ugly man," Madara said, emphasizing the word "ugly" before disappearing with a Body Flicker Technique.

"Madara!! I'll definitely be more handsome than you!" Hashirama yelled at the spot where Madara had disappeared, furious.

Back at the Senju station, Hashirama immediately went to Mito's room.

"Mito, do you think I'm handsome?" Hashirama asked affectionately, hugging her as she was about to sleep.

Mito stared at Hashirama, puzzled by the sudden change in his behavior.

Hashirama grinned, thinking to himself, I knew it! I'm definitely handsome! Look at Mito's reaction! My nephew just doesn't know any better. I need to fix his sense of aesthetics. How could he think that ice block Madara is better looking?

"...Pfft! Hahahaha!" Mito suddenly burst out laughing.

The smile on Hashirama's face froze as he let go of Mito.

"Hahahaha, Hashirama... Hashirama... hahahaha... why are you even asking that?" Mito finally asked between fits of laughter.

Hashirama explained the day's events, stressing that Dave had strange tastes and that as his uncle, it was his duty to correct him.

"Pfft! So, it's because Dave said you're not as handsome as Madara? Hahaha! But Hashirama, Madara is indeed more handsome than you." Mito giggled, glancing at Hashirama with an amused expression.

Hashirama stood in silence, pulling out a branch and drawing circles on the floor, looking pitiful in black-and-white like a shadow.

Meanwhile, at Tobirama's house...

Two figures, one large and one small, sat facing each other.

"I heard you spent the whole afternoon with Madara. What do you think of him?" Tobirama asked, taking a sip of water to wash off the dust from the day.

"Uncle Madara? I think he's nice, but his face is a bit too cold, which scares some kids," Dave said after thinking for a moment.

"Hmph! What's so great about the Uchiha? They're all born with evil tendencies! You should stay away from him! I'm afraid he'll lead you astray!" Tobirama scoffed, his voice filled with anger.

"No, Uncle Madara is so nice! Why don't you want me to play with him?" Dave retorted stubbornly, crossing his arms.

"You! Hmph! From today on, I'll send a clone to follow you! Aside from school and home, you're not allowed to go anywhere!" Tobirama snapped, furious.

Tobirama, who had been raised in a strict environment by his father, had never faced this kind of defiance. How had this child turned out so rebellious? No, he had to discipline him properly!

"...I'm not talking to you!" Dave stood up and stormed back to his room, leaving Tobirama rubbing his temples in frustration.

The next day...

"Hashirama, why isn't Dave with you?" Madara "happened" to meet Hashirama on the street again. Noticing Hashirama's empty hands, he asked.

"Ah... Dave has school today... and, well, Tobirama said that except for school and home, Dave isn't allowed to go anywhere," Hashirama replied, looking a bit embarrassed.

"Hmph!" Uchiha Madara snorted and turned away, walking off.

That white-haired man is getting more and more annoying. Why didn't I kill him back then? Madara thought darkly to himself.
