Chapter 6 The Left Hand Holds The Right Hand

"It's so boring... What is he talking about..." Dave lay on the table like a salted fish, looking at the old man speaking passionately at the podium in front of him. His heart was filled with infinite sadness... When will this day end?

In his previous life, he had finally completed nine years of compulsory education and six years of higher-level elite education in slacking off. Now, he's starting over again...

"Hiruzen, don't you think what he's saying is boring?" Dave asked speechlessly as he looked at the excited Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"No, I think the teacher's lecture is excellent! I will use all my energy to learn! I must not let the teacher down!" Hiruzen replied with great enthusiasm.

"You're hopeless. Danzo, what do you think?" Dave rolled his eyes and turned to Danzo on the other side, asking him.

"Hmph, the teacher worked hard to explain the topic to us. How will you protect Konoha in the future if you act like this?" Danzo snorted with a look of "I am all for Konoha" on his face.

"Ahh! You two are hopeless!!" Dave slammed his head on the table, groaning with a headache.

"Danzo, let's switch places. I want to sit next to that pretty girl." Dave's eyes suddenly lit up as he noticed a very pretty girl sitting next to Danzo and quickly spoke up.

He didn't want to get involved with these two good friends. He was really afraid that one day he'd be brainwashed. If he ended up holding the Will of Fire in his left hand and the future of Konoha in his right, his life would be ruined...

"Hmph, no way!" Danzo snorted coldly.

"Hey! You! Damn it! You're delaying my grand future plans!" Dave said angrily.

"Danzo, just switch with Dave." At this point, Hiruzen turned to Danzo, looking at him with hopeful eyes.

Hiss! The Orion Lights are bursting at the seams!

"Fine... fine," Danzo reluctantly agreed after seeing his good friend's hopeful expression.

After switching seats:

"Hello, little sister, my name is Senju Dave. What's your name?" Dave asked the girl next to him with a smile.

"Ah... you... hello, my name is Uchiha Tsukimi. You... don't hate me?" The girl was surprised at first when she saw her new seatmate, then shyly asked, clearly nervous.

"Why would I hate you? You're so cute. Don't worry about the cold-faced guy who sat next to you before. He's just like that. I'm different." Dave waved his hand dismissively.

Dave had a headache. Had Danzo already learned to hate the Uchiha from his father at such a young age? Wow, how could you hate such a cute girl?

"Ah... well... um... let's listen to the teacher's lecture," Tsukimi said, relieved that her new seatmate didn't hate her, but blushing even more when he called her cute.

"Tsukimi, don't you think what he's saying is boring?" Dave asked, still slumped on the table.

"I don't think so. I think the teacher's lecture is quite interesting," Tsukimi replied with a smile.

"Ugh, what's so interesting about an old man droning on..." Dave gave her a hopeless look before responding.

"Hehe, only you, Dave, would dare say such things," Tsukimi giggled.

Dave didn't say anything this time, just smiled at Tsukimi.

"Uh... um, Dave... why are you looking at me like that?" Tsukimi asked, her face turning red as Dave gazed at her.

"Hey, you're really pretty and cute when you smile," Dave said with a grin, even reaching out to pinch Tsukimi's soft cheek.

"Ah..." Tsukimi's face instantly turned from cherry blossom pink to fiery red, and Dave could almost see steam rising from her head.

Meanwhile...

"Damn it! Dave is amazing! He just sat down, and the girl already likes him!" Hiruzen exclaimed in awe, starry-eyed as he noticed Dave pinching the girl's cheek.

"Hmph! Focus, Hiruzen! You need to listen to the lecture! You must protect Konoha in the future! How can you act like this?" Danzo said disdainfully, glancing at Dave and Tsukimi before turning back to Hiruzen.

"Yes, yes!" Hiruzen said, though he still snuck a few more glances at Dave, clearly eager to learn his techniques.

At that moment, Tobirama, standing at the podium, also noticed his son.

The veins on Tobirama's forehead popped out. His son had not only switched seats without permission but was also flirting with a girl—an Uchiha girl, no less! No! He'd have to give his son a stern lesson about the evil Uchiha when they got home!

This boy must have been brainwashed by that vile Uchiha Madara! He couldn't allow the two of them to interact anymore! My poor child!!

That damn Uchiha Madara!

That damn Senju Tobirama!

At the same time, Uchiha Madara was cursing Tobirama in his heart.

Dave is such a good child. If his father turns him into a copy of himself, Uchiha Madara will regret it forever. No, he had to find Dave and keep him away from his father!

...

Meanwhile, in the Hokage's office, Hashirama was still arduously going through paperwork. He had noticed Madara's earlier behavior. Knowing his long-time friend, Madara was surely planning something. But strangely, Konoha was still peaceful for now.

The more peaceful it seemed, the more worried Hashirama became...

That afternoon, after class...

Dave and Tsukimi had grown close to the point where Dave was lying in her lap, and she was feeding him.

Hiruzen, seeing this, could barely contain himself, shouting that he needed to learn from his idol. Hiruzen was practically dying of envy, while Danzo merely scoffed, declaring that Dave would never be serious about protecting Konoha in the future.

Tobirama, on the other hand, was getting a headache. It had only been one day, and his son and that "evil" Uchiha girl had developed this far...

But he hesitated to intervene, recalling his elder brother's son.

Back then, his brother's son had also fallen for a girl.

However, in order to maintain good relations with the daimyo, Hashirama had forcibly separated the boy from the girl and married him off to the daimyo's daughter.

To this day, the boy had been living in the daimyo's mansion.

He hadn't visited Hashirama or Mito in five or six years.

The boy was only about ten years old at the time...

What a precocious child...

Tobirama didn't want to end up like his brother, alienated from his son over something like this. He would be doomed.
