FACING FEARS

"That's all for now," Doctor Stevenson said, as he rose to his feet.

He kept his gaze on Angel who had finally kept still long enough for him to carry out the tests he needed.

Smiling as he slung his packed bag over his shoulder, he gave her a little wave.

"Sorry for how I acted earlier," she apologized. "I just have an aversion for men in white coats," she explained.

"I understand," he nodded. "You won't be my first patient to be scared. Do you know how brave you are for overcoming your fears?"

"Not really. But I like being complimented, so tell me," she joked, and Dr Stevenson laughed.

"You were extremely great!" He gave her a thumbs up.

"Thank you doctor," she smiled.

"But that's not all. I have a gift for you."

Ares, who had stepped aside with Xander after successfully calming Angel, looked up to see what this gift thing was about.

"A gift?!" Her eyes widened. "I love gifts!"
