OUT OF HER MIND

Ares chuckled first, but it wasn't enough, so he bellowed.

"What is so funny, Ares?" Markos asked, feeling insulted.

"Did you really think that was going to work? You'd walk into my house, and just demand for my prisoner?"

"You didn't let me finish. I have a deal for you."

"I don't care what your deal is, the answer is no. It's ten thousand dollars for a night in Kolasi, and fifteen if you're doing two. Goodbye," Ares said, turning around.

"And if I tell you I know where you can find the diamonds?"

Ares halted just by the door, causing Markos to smile.

It was too easy to get his attention. Everyone knew about Ares' obsession with finding the diamonds he thought were rightfully his.

"What do you know about the diamonds?"

"I know that it's said she's the only one that knows about it's whereabouts. But that's a lie, and I can prove it," he said confidently.
