"Hey common, wait up man!" Ares called out to Markos, who stopped abruptly, and turned to him.
"She's crazy!" He screamed. "You didn't tell me she was crazy!"
"Are you serious right now? Are you going to let a little craziness keep you away from your goals? Besides, she's not crazy. A little out of it at the moment, sure, but she's not crazy."
"Ares, I know what I saw. I may like, no— I may love women, but not nearly enough to keep a sick one around."
Ares' heart doubled in annoyance, but he kept his composure.
"You've surprised me. I've known you for what? Over twenty years? This is truly the first time I've seen you so rattled. A woman has you rattled?" He chuckled mockingly.
"Enough! I just need time, okay? I need time to assess if she's worth it."
