Ares perceived her the second she stepped into the room.
Moving back, he turned, just as Ava approached him.
"I'm back," she said, and went in for a kiss.
Making sure to put her heart, and a little extra into it, she kissed him like her life belonged to him.
Angel couldn't bring herself to watch the kiss, so she tossed her face to the side until it was over.
"How come you're back so soon? You didn't tell me you were coming home," Ares said, still completely surprised by her sudden appearance.
Ava giggled, as she wiped her lipstick off his mouth.
"I wanted to surprise you. I've missed how your face lights up everytime I show up. Tell me you missed me," she asked loud enough for Angel to hear.
Angel snickered inwardly, as she reminded herself it was best to calm down.
She didn't care if Ava was in the picture. Her mind was determined, and she wasn't ready to back down.
