Nadia was asleep when Angel returned to her room.
She walked up to her bed, and sat beside her.
"Hey humming lady," she muttered, and smiled.
Rising to her feet, she spared her one more glance, before walking into her room.
Her eyes took a trip around the room. "You're not even that bad," she said, especially grateful for the initiative to change the color of the walls.
After freshening up, she returned to Nadia's room, and mounted the sewing machine.
It didn't take long for her to get into the groove of things.
"I've missed you," she said, and smiled.
The next morning, Nadia woke Angel up with a cup of steaming hot coffee.
"You're back," she said, as Angel straightened up.
"Did I fall asleep on the machine again?" She asked, wiping her eyes off with the back of her hand.
"You did," Nadia smiled, stretching the cup towards her.
She muttered her gratitude, as she accepted the cup.
