Angel slowly came into consciousness, but remained closed eyed on the bed.
She heard whispering voices surrounding her, and wondered what they were talking about.
It took her about five minutes to remember everything that happened.
That memory came with a guilty pang in her heart.
"Oh Angel," she thought with a sigh.
She hadn't considered the optics when she decided to swim with Xander.
In retrospect, she could see why anyone who walked in on them would think there was something there.
She just wished she could be given a chance to explain her side of the story.
"And maybe explain to me when exactly I fell unconscious?" She thought, that part of her memory still a little bit fuzzy.
"Do you think she'd want to eat something when she wakes up?"
Angel heard that clearly, and slowly opened her eyes.
"I think—" Ivar paused briefly. "She's awake," he declared.
