A POLARISING GUEST IN KOLASI

Ares began to walk towards her, and her somber face slowly shifted into a smiling one.

She waited patiently for him to arrive before her, so she could feel him.

It didn't matter who was looking. It didn't matter that David would absolutely be watching.

All she wanted to do was give him a comforting hug, and tell him that everything would be alright.

However, to her greatest shock, he walked right past her without even so much as an acknowledging glance.

He pretended like she didn't exist, and in that moment, she felt like a dagger had been thrust into her heart.

Stupidly, her legs moved forward on their own accord to go to him. But she hadn't even taken a second step when Ivar held on to her arm.

"Not now," he said.

She suddenly couldn't move anymore. Instead, she turned to him.

"Do you want to get out of here?" He asked.
