Chapter 17: Capturing Oolong

Bulma understood the old lady's intention, and since their biggest concern was the monster named Oolong, she said, "How about this: you give us the Dragon Ball, and we'll help you get rid of the Oolong monster. What do you say?"

"Deal!" The old lady didn't wait for Bulma to change her mind and immediately handed over the Dragon Ball.

Bulma didn't mind, as both parties felt they were getting the better end of the deal.

Bulma asked, "Who is Oolong supposed to marry today?"

The villagers pushed forward a beautiful young girl and said, "It's her. She's the treasure of our town."

Bulma couldn't help but roll her eyes, thinking to herself, "Oolong has terrible taste. Why would he want to marry such a young girl who hasn't even developed yet? He has no eye for beauty."

"But that's precisely why Goku can pretend to be the girl. If he were any taller, he wouldn't be able to pull it off."

Bulma turned to Son Goku and said, "Goku, change into this girl's clothes and pretend to be her. When Oolong arrives, defeat and capture him."

At first, Son Goku didn't think much of the idea of pretending to be someone else. But when he put on the girl's clothes, he found them extremely uncomfortable and kept tugging at them, wanting to take them off.

John Doe gave Bulma a subtle glance, and she had no choice but to walk over to Son Goku and say, "Goku, just hold on a little longer. Once you defeat and capture Oolong, you can take off the clothes. If you can endure it, I'll make you a big dinner tonight."

Hearing John Doe's promise, Son Goku finally agreed to the plan.

Time passed, and soon it was twelve o'clock, the time Oolong had agreed upon with the villagers. A voice shouted, "Oolong is here!"

The villagers, who had been outside with Son Goku, quickly hid in their houses, peeking out from behind windows to observe the scene.

A red-skinned pig-headed monster with a light and quick gait arrived at the center of the town and saw the bride-to-be standing with her back to him.

Oolong bent down and happily said, "My bride, you've waited for me for so long. From today on, you are my wife, and I am your husband. Let's go home."

Bulma and John Doe were hiding in a nearby house. Bulma, peeking through the window, saw Son Goku trembling and asked John Doe, "John, is Goku scared? Why is he shaking so much?"

John Doe shook his head, "Impossible. Goku isn't the type to be scared. He might have to pee and is trying to hold it in."

"Has to pee?" Bulma was skeptical.

At this moment, Oolong, in his pig-headed form, noticed the 'bride' in front of him trembling and said, "Ah, I see. My appearance has scared you. Let me change into something else."

With a 'pop' sound, the red-skinned pig-headed monster transformed into an elegant English gentleman, holding a top hat in one hand and a walking stick in the other. He was 1.8 meters tall, with a model-like physique and a mustache. He was incredibly handsome.

This new appearance was right up Bulma's alley, and her eyes turned into hearts.

Bulma turned to John Doe and said, "This Oolong is quite handsome. He's my type."

John Doe poured cold water on her enthusiasm, "How do you know this is Oolong's true form? It could just be another transformation. Maybe his actual form is a short, fat pig-headed monster."

"Impossible!" Bulma retorted, but she couldn't provide a convincing argument. She simply refused to believe it.

Meanwhile, outside, Son Goku couldn't hold it in any longer and ran to a nearby tree to relieve himself.

Oolong, still in his transformed state, closed his eyes and continued his romantic display, unaware that his 'bride' had run off. When he opened his eyes, he saw the 'bride' standing under a tree, relieving himself.

Oolong was shocked, but he still approached the 'bride' to confirm. When he saw the indescribable scene before him, he felt like he had been struck by lightning. He shouted, "You're not the girl from yesterday!"

Then, his anger surged, and with a 'pop', he transformed into a muscular black-haired bull with steam coming out of his nostrils. "You dare to trick me, Oolong! I'll teach you a lesson!"

Son Goku, realizing he had been discovered, stopped pretending and took off the clothes. He drew his Power Pole and excitedly said, "Let's fight! I love sparring with people."

Hearing Son Goku's enthusiastic tone, Oolong broke into a cold sweat. He was well aware of his own strength, and even a regular child might be able to defeat him.

However, he didn't want to let the villagers off the hook. He had worked hard to instill fear in them, and if he ran away now, it would be more difficult to scare them in the future.

Oolong glanced at his watch and saw that his transformation time was almost up. He decided to flee and come back to scare them later.

With his plan in mind, Oolong shouted at Son Goku, "I have something to do right now. I'll come back for you later. You wait for me!"

As soon as Oolong tried to run away, John Doe was ready for him. He had been waiting for Oolong's five-minute transformation limit to expire.

When Oolong transformed into the bull monster, John Doe was already standing at the town's exit.

Oolong, in his bull form, turned to run but collided with John Doe's kick. John Doe's flying kick struck Oolong's head, sending him flying backward.

Oolong transformed back into his original form in mid-air—a short, fat, pig-headed Earthling.

Oolong landed on the ground, clutching his head and crying out in pain. His eyes welled up with tears.

Son Goku ran over and said, "So, you're Oolong. You're so weak!"

Bulma, seeing Oolong's true form, sighed and said, "What an ugly form. He's even worse than John!"

John Doe was offended, "How can you compare me to a pig? No matter how much I change, I can't possibly be worse than a pig."

At this point, John Doe had lost a lot of weight due to his training. His initially plump body had become much slimmer, but Bulma, who had been with him all this time, hadn't noticed the change.
