Chapter 22: Kamehameha

Upon hearing King Ox's words, everyone couldn't help but marvel at Master Roshi's possession of such a powerful treasure.

Goku immediately agreed and summoned the Flying Nimbus.

Just as Goku was about to fly off on the Flying Nimbus to find Master Roshi, King Ox suddenly remembered something and called out to Goku, "Goku, wait! I sent my daughter Chi-Chi to find Master Wutian. If you see her on your way, bring her with you to Master Wutian."

Goku nodded in agreement, bid farewell to John Doe and the others, and flew off on the Flying Nimbus in the direction he had come from.

Given the relationship between King Ox and Goku, John Doe and the others naturally didn't want to fight King Ox again. They sat on the ground, chatting and waiting for Goku's return.

Not much time had passed, and it was already evening when Goku returned on the Flying Nimbus, accompanied by a sweet-looking but strangely dressed little girl, with Master Roshi following behind on the Turtle.

As soon as Master Roshi landed, King Ox rushed over and bowed deeply, shouting, "Master Wutian!"

However, Master Roshi, feeling dizzy from the Turtle, was shaken by King Ox and fell to the ground.

After recovering, King Ox knelt before Master Roshi and said, "Disciple is ashamed that you had to come here yourself."

Master Roshi, looking displeased, said, "King Ox, I heard you've killed many people to seize their treasures!"

King Ox turned pale and trembled, "Master, I... I won't dare do it again!"

Master Roshi didn't say much more. He didn't have the same affection for King Ox as he did for Son Gohan. Otherwise, he wouldn't have driven King Ox away after Son Gohan completed his training.

In Master Roshi's heart, Son Gohan was his true disciple. It was a pity that his talented disciple had died in such an undeserving way.

Master Roshi sighed inwardly but didn't dwell on it. After all, as a creature who had lived for hundreds of years, he had seen all sorts of things.

Master Roshi's expression changed as he walked over to Bulma and said suggestively, "Goku told me that the sixth Dragon Ball you're looking for is in the castle surrounded by flames. I can help put out the fire on Fire Mountain and get the Dragon Ball for you."

"But on one condition," he continued, making a suggestive gesture.

Bulma had refused before, and she wasn't going to agree now. She had come to find the Dragon Ball to help John Doe, so why should she sacrifice herself? Without hesitation, she declined.

Master Roshi was displeased and said, "If you don't agree, I won't help put out the fire."

Their argument caught the attention of King Ox, John Doe, and the others.

King Ox, hearing his master's request, felt ashamed but still pleaded with Bulma, asking her to help and promising that she could choose any treasure from his castle once the fire was extinguished.

At that moment, John Doe pulled Bulma aside.

Bulma thought John Doe was also going to persuade her to sacrifice herself, and she was deeply disappointed. Although John Doe wasn't her type, she considered him a true friend.

She was even willing to risk her life and sacrifice a year of not being able to make wishes with the Dragon Balls just to help John Doe find the Dragon Ball and fulfill his wish.

Bulma decided that if John Doe tried to convince her, she would end their friendship.

Unaware of Bulma's inner turmoil, John Doe said, "Don't you remember we have a shape-shifting pig?" He pointed to Oolong, who was playing nearby. "You can agree to Master Roshi's request and let Oolong transform into you to fulfill the promise."

Hearing John Doe's suggestion, Bulma became delighted and praised him, "John Doe, you're so clever! I knew bringing this pig along would come in handy someday. I'm so glad I had the foresight."

After discussing it, they walked out from the corner, and Master Roshi and King Ox looked at Bulma expectantly.

Bulma pretended to reluctantly agree, saying, "Fine, I'll agree to your request. Now, go ahead and put out the fire."

Hearing Bulma's agreement, Master Roshi was thrilled. He took off his turtle shell and climbed onto a section of the wall with effort.

Slowly, Master Roshi unbuttoned his clothes, revealing his skinny body.

King Ox exclaimed excitedly, "It's about to happen! Master Wutian's ultimate skill, Kamehameha!"

Apart from John Doe and King Ox, no one could tell what this frail old man could do to extinguish the fire on Fire Mountain.

Just then, Master Roshi let out a loud shout, and his skinny body suddenly transformed into a muscular man, his entire body expanding. He went from a frail old man to a well-built bodybuilder.

Master Roshi raised his arms and slowly gathered his energy, and a radiant glow passed through his palms.

He then brought his palms together in a flower bud shape and placed them at his waist. A bright light appeared between his palms, emitting a blinding glow, a sign of concentrated energy.

As Master Roshi slowly pronounced each syllable, "Ka-me-ha-me-ha!" he pushed his flower bud-shaped hands forward, and a dazzling energy wave shot towards Fire Mountain.

The intense energy wave forced everyone to shield their eyes from the bright light. The wave created a piercing screech as it cut through the air, and the powerful air currents made their clothes and hair flutter.

When Master Roshi finished releasing the energy wave, everyone could finally open their eyes and see the scene before them. They were all stunned because the raging fire on Fire Mountain had not only been extinguished, but the entire mountain had been shattered by Master Roshi's powerful energy wave.

Master Roshi then reverted to his original skinny form, as if what had just happened was all an illusion. But the sight before them confirmed that the powerful energy wave had indeed destroyed a massive mountain.
