Chapter 26: Goku's Transformation

After Shenron disappeared, the dark clouds also dissipated, and Bulma and Oolong quickly joined them.

Bulma looked at the now handsome John Doe, and although she might have teased him before, she was genuinely happy for him.

"Congratulations, John Doe. You've finally fulfilled your wish and taken the first step towards becoming the world's greatest martial artist," Bulma congratulated him.

John Doe sincerely replied, "Thank you, Bulma. I couldn't have made my wish come true without your help. So, from now on, no matter where I am, I'll come back to help you if you're in trouble."

Bulma smiled and said, "You said it yourself. If I'm in danger, I'll definitely call on you, and you mustn't refuse."

After John Doe and Bulma finished talking, the others joined them, each congratulating John Doe on fulfilling his wish.

John Doe also said to them, "Thank you all for your company these past few days. The Dragon Balls will turn into stones for a year, and only then will they become active again. At that time, we can search for the Dragon Balls to help you fulfill your wishes."

Surprisingly, the group wasn't too concerned about making wishes with the Dragon Balls. Bulma, the heiress of the Capsule Corporation, wanted to find a handsome prince, but now her heart was slowly leaning towards Yamcha, so she no longer needed the Dragon Balls to fulfill her wish.

As for Yamcha's wish, John Doe had already mentioned that it was a psychological issue that Shenron couldn't change.

Goku, being carefree, didn't have any particular wish to make at the moment.

As for Pu'er and Oolong, well, Pu'er just wanted to follow Yamcha, and Oolong was content with having pretty girls' underwear. They didn't need Shenron to grant their wishes.

At this moment, Pilaf and his subordinates, Mai and Shu, regained consciousness after being knocked out. Seeing that Shenron was gone and John Doe's group was celebrating, they realized that John Doe had stolen their wish from Shenron. They became furious.

However, Pilaf knew he wasn't a match for John Doe's group, so they retreated into the castle and emerged in three robots, charging towards John Doe and his friends.

John Doe and his friends, caught up in the excitement of their wish fulfillment, hadn't noticed the approaching robots until they fired three missiles at them.

Yamcha, holding Bulma, quickly dodged, while Pu'er and Oolong ran towards the distance. John Doe and Goku, on the other hand, rushed towards the missiles.

The two of them kicked away two of the missiles, while John Doe caught the remaining one in his arms. He spun around and controlled the missile, sending it back towards Pilaf and his group.

Seeing the missile coming back at them, Pilaf and his companions were terrified. They tried to run, but it was too late. The missile exploded beneath their robots, sending them flying and shattering the robots in mid-air.

Just then, a full moon rose into the sky, bathing the land in its clear, bright light.

John Doe suddenly felt a sense of foreboding and shouted, "Goku, don't look at the full moon!"

But as soon as he said this, John Doe realized he shouldn't have said it.

Sure enough, Goku instinctively looked up at the full moon, and in an instant, his eyes turned red, his teeth and gums protruded, and his body began to grow, slowly transforming into a giant ape.

Everyone was shocked by Goku's rapid transformation, and John Doe shouted, "Get away! Yamcha, help me subdue him. His weakness is his tail!"

The giant ape noticed John Doe and charged towards them.

Swinging his massive arms, the ape reached for John Doe, who jumped onto the ape's arm and ran up towards his shoulder.

Meanwhile, Yamcha took advantage of the ape's distraction and moved towards its back, intending to cut off its tail.

The ape, feeling John Doe running on its arm, roared and reached for John Doe with its other hand.

Although the ape had become very powerful, its large size made it less agile. John Doe dodged its attacks, drawing its attention away from Yamcha.

Yamcha finally reached the ape's massive tail and used his Wolf Fang Fist to create a stone knife, intending to cut off the tail.

However, when the stone knife struck the tail, it shattered without cutting it off.

The sensation in its tail alerted the ape, and it turned its attention away from John Doe and towards Yamcha.

Facing the ape's red eyes, Yamcha was scared and almost ran away. But he knew the tail was Goku's weakness, so he forced himself to grab the ape's tail.

The ape slowly calmed down.

John Doe jumped down from the ape's shoulder and raised his hand, gathering energy to form a blade. He aimed at the base of the ape's tail and slashed it off.

With a loud 'thud,' the huge tail fell to the ground, kicking up dust, and the ape slowly shrank back to Goku's size.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that Goku had finally returned to normal.

By this time, the castle, which had been luxurious, was half-destroyed due to the damage caused by Goku's giant ape form.

Pilaf, watching from a distance, was heartbroken as he witnessed his family's castle, built over generations with their wealth, being ruined.

But unable to defeat John Doe's group, Pilaf could only bite his clothes to hold back his tears.

Mai and Shu could only quietly comfort their leader, saying, "Revenge is a dish best served cold, King Pilaf. We'll have another chance. We can collect the Dragon Balls and make a wish next year. These losses are nothing."

John Doe suggested, "Since we're on enemy territory, and we don't know if there are any dangers, let's leave here by plane."

After saying this, John Doe picked up Goku and, along with the others, boarded the transformed plane and departed from Pilaf's castle.
