Chapter 11: Goku Transforms Again

Due to the significant energy expenditure during his match with Goku, John Doe was granted a thirty-minute break instead of the usual ten minutes, after the host consulted with Master Roshi.

Thirty minutes later, amidst the enthusiastic applause of the audience, John Doe and Master Roshi stepped onto the ring.

Initially, the audience thought that Master Roshi, an old man with white hair, might not be a strong contender. However, Master Roshi proved them wrong with his impressive performance. He had consecutively eliminated the wild Yamcha and Krillin, a disciple of the Martial Arts God. Master Roshi, disguised as Cheng Long, had become a crowd favorite.

John Doe, a handsome young man and a disciple of the Martial Arts God, had fought his way through numerous martial artists. His intense battle with Goku, his fellow disciple, had garnered him immense popularity.

As the two stepped onto the ring, the crowd erupted in cheers, anticipating an intense and visually stunning fight.

The host shouted, "I declare the final match officially started!" With the sound of the gong, John Doe took the initiative and attacked Master Roshi.

After the half-hour break, John Doe had temporarily suppressed the muscle injury in his arm and wanted to test if he could overpower Master Roshi.

However, Goku and Krillin, watching from the sidelines, found John Doe's sudden aggression unusual. In previous matches, John Doe had always been calm and collected, but now, in the finals, he chose to attack first.

Master Roshi, observing from the ring, noticed John Doe's issue. Concerned about John Doe's 'intent before action' technique, Master Roshi opted for a defensive strategy. However, after engaging in combat, Master Roshi realized that John Doe's mindset was no longer the same as during his fight with Goku.

John Doe's ki was now intense and wild. Master Roshi could easily sense his every move.

"Bang!" The two clashed again, separating and landing back on the ring. Master Roshi asked, "What's wrong with you? Why are you so hasty in your attacks? This isn't like you."

John Doe reassumed his fighting stance and replied, "That's none of your concern. If you think you're strong enough, defeat me."

Master Roshi didn't say more but leaped, swinging his hand like a blade towards John Doe. John Doe dodged and flipped, kicking Master Roshi.

However, Master Roshi had already jumped over John Doe, landing a kick on his shoulder. John Doe winced in pain, as the injury he sustained during his fight with Goku reopened.

Gritting his teeth, John Doe stood up and attacked Master Roshi again. At this point, Master Roshi also noticed John Doe's injury and realized that it wasn't caused by their current battle. The only explanation was that John Doe's 'intent before action' technique had injured him during his fight with Goku.

Master Roshi said, "John Doe, your shoulder is injured. I advise you to concede. Continuing like this will only worsen your injury."

John Doe shook his head and said, "Unless you knock me off the ring or I knock you off, I won't give up."

Master Roshi shook his head and said, "I appreciate your spirit, but I don't agree with your approach." With that, he decided to send John Doe off the ring.

At that moment, Master Roshi assumed the pose for the Kamehameha, but John Doe, due to his injured arm, couldn't use the technique.

Just then, a full moon appeared in the sky, and Goku, seeing it, transformed into a giant ape.

The surrounding crowd was terrified and scattered, while Goku began wreaking havoc at the tournament venue.

This sudden turn of events startled both John Doe and Master Roshi, who quickly attacked the giant ape.

Yamcha shouted, "When Goku sees the full moon, he transforms into a giant ape. His weakness is his tail. If you cut off his tail, he'll revert to his normal state."

Hearing Yamcha's voice, Master Roshi had a ruthless idea. Since Goku transformed into a giant ape upon seeing the full moon, he decided to destroy the moon to prevent Goku from transforming again.

Master Roshi called out to John Doe, "You go and restrain Goku. I'll destroy the moon."

Master Roshi took off his shirt, gathered his ki, and transformed into a muscular giant.

Understanding Master Roshi's plan, John Doe joined Yamcha and Krillin in holding back the giant ape.

While they distracted the giant ape, John Doe leaped onto Goku's tail and held on tightly.

The once-frenzied giant ape gradually calmed down. At that moment, a loud voice came from the nearby ring.

"Kame...ha...me...ha!" Master Roshi, with his hands in a flower-bud shape, gathered a massive amount of ki and unleashed the Kamehameha towards the moon.

A blinding flash of light accompanied a powerful shockwave. As the dust settled, Goku, who had been a giant ape, reverted to his human form.

Everyone looked up at the moon, realizing that the once-full moon now had a large chunk missing, leaving a gaping hole in its surface. (Personally, I believe that Master Roshi, with a combat power of over 100, was unlikely to completely destroy the moon.)

Countless moon fragments began falling towards the Earth, creating a massive meteor shower.

The host, witnessing this, screamed, "Oh no! Without the moon, how will we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival by eating mooncakes and admiring the moon? How will werewolves transform during a full moon?"

Master Roshi shouted back, "Shut up! Was I supposed to destroy humanity instead of the moon?"

After saying this, Master Roshi pointed at John Doe and said, "Referee, he has voluntarily left the ring. I win!"

Hearing Master Roshi's words, John Doe was taken aback. He looked at the ring and realized that he had indeed stepped out of the ring while restraining Goku.

But hadn't Master Roshi instructed him to restrain Goku? How could he be so unfair to his own disciple?

The host, hearing Master Roshi's words, immediately approached John Doe and confirmed his position. Then, he shouted, "I announce that John Doe has voluntarily left the ring. Cheng Long wins!"
