Chapter 27: John Doe Takes the Stage

Krillin, having recovered, was still shaken by the vampire warrior. The group now faced a dilemma: who should fight next?

Yamcha, confident that his strength was no less than Krillin's, also had no effective strategy against the flying vampire.

Among them, only Goku and John Doe seemed unconcerned. As the others discussed how to fight the vampire warrior, John stepped onto the arena and said, "This is too troublesome. I'll take care of them all."

Goku immediately understood John's intention and pleaded, "John, I want to fight too."

"Sorry, but the early bird catches the worm. I also want to test my current strength. Don't worry, after the fight, I'll spar with you properly," John assured Goku.

Goku, delighted by John's promise, exclaimed, "Really?"

"Of course," John replied.

"In that case, I'll leave the next fight to you," Goku said generously.

Their carefree conversation finally irritated Fortuneteller Baba, who interrupted them, saying, "Are you done? Do you want to fight or not? If not, get out of my estate right now!"

"Of course, we're ready to fight. Let's begin," John said.

The vampire warrior, seeing John's tall and handsome appearance, felt jealous. In the past, he had struggled to find love due to his unattractive looks.

Once, after confessing to a girl, she had told him he was too ugly, comparing him to a vampire. She had asked him not to scare people with his appearance.

Enraged, he accepted the blood of a vampire and became a real vampire. His first act as a vampire was to turn the girl and her family into vampires, making them into the very thing he had once despised.

Looking at John, the vampire warrior recalled his past experiences and shouted, "Damn you, pretty boy! I'll scratch your face and drink your blood!" He lunged at John.

John seemed startled, standing motionless, causing Bulma and the others to scream in fear.

Only Goku and Master Roshi remained calm, realizing that John's strength had significantly improved.

Just as the vampire warrior was about to pounce, John finally moved. With a simple punch, he struck the vampire warrior's face, deforming it with his immense power. The vampire warrior was sent flying back even faster than before, crashing through a wall behind him.

The powerful display shocked everyone. Goku, witnessing John's performance, felt a surge of battle enthusiasm and couldn't wait to fight him.

John, unfazed, smiled at the astonished Fortuneteller Baba and said, "Grandma, we can start the next match."

Although surprised by John's strength, Fortuneteller Baba laughed and said, "Young man, I admit you're strong, but the next opponent won't be so easy to defeat."

"Oh, let's see how strong my next opponent is," John said.

After a brief wait, the next warrior still hadn't appeared. Yamcha and Krillin shouted, "Where is the next opponent?"

Before Fortuneteller Baba could respond, John casually said, "He's already on the arena." He turned his gaze to an empty spot on the arena.

The transparent man standing there was startled but didn't believe John could see him.

Yamcha asked curiously, "He's on the arena, but we can't see him. Is he transparent?"

John nodded and said, "Yes, Fortuneteller Baba's second warrior is a transparent man."

"Am I right, Fortuneteller Baba?" John asked.

Everyone turned their attention to Fortuneteller Baba, who looked at John with a serious expression and asked, "How did you know? I didn't even say anything."

John didn't answer. Instead, he addressed Goku, Krillin, and Yamcha, saying, "Do you know how to deal with a transparent person, or more broadly, how to handle someone who ambushes you?"

The three shook their heads, indicating they didn't know. Goku's current strength was high, but his control over his ki was still rudimentary.

John explained, "Let me show you. Pay close attention. To deal with such opponents, we need to master the use of ki."

"Ki!" Goku and the others were puzzled, while Master Roshi sighed, impressed by John's advanced skills.

John continued, "Every living being has ki. The stronger the being, the stronger the ki. The weaker the being, the weaker the ki."

"In my perception, the transparent man's ki is like a light in the darkness. I can see him clearly."

John turned to the transparent man and said, "Do you want to attack first, or should I?"

The transparent man, still not believing he had been discovered, kept changing positions, but John always faced him.

"Don't waste your energy. If you won't attack, I will," John said. With a swift movement, he lunged forward before anyone could react. With a phantom punch, everyone saw an invisible figure fall into the lake with a 'plop,' creating ripples on the water.

Everyone was astonished. Krillin exclaimed, "I didn't know there were transparent people in this world."

Fortuneteller Baba looked at John and said, "Young man, you're indeed strong, but there are always stronger people out there. The next three opponents won't be so easy to defeat."

John smiled and said, "If I didn't even use one-tenth of my strength just now, do you believe me, Grandma?"

Fortuneteller Baba's face darkened, and she said, "You're all talk. I hope you can still smile after the next match."

Fortuneteller Baba then raised her crystal and said to everyone, "Let's change the battleground. Follow me."

As Fortuneteller Baba led the way, everyone followed behind. Krillin, curious, asked, "Where are we going?"

Master Roshi replied in a low voice, "The Devil's Toilet!"

"The Devil's Toilet?!" Everyone was shocked, unable to imagine what kind of place would be called the Devil's Toilet.
