"AND ON ONE HAND WE HAVE THE EXILED PRINCESS OF THE FIRE NATION! HER FLAMES ARE HOTTER THAN THE SUN AND SHE IS CAPABLE OF IMMOBILIZING YOU IN 10 DIFFERENT WAYS BEFORE YOU KNOW IT!! AZULAAA!!!"

Azula's sullen expression upon hearing her introduction indicated that it didn't really do anything to lighten her mood. After Jiro was introduced and the match began, Azula quickly moved.

She didn't even use her fire, she just ran towards Jiro, Jiro seemed surprised but she moved anyway, she used her Earphone Jacks that had greater range to attack Azula, unfortunately for her, Azula dodged them with ease and once Jiro was in her range, she accurately hit the pressure points on Jiro's body.

Her arm went still first, before continuing with both legs and the rest of her body. Jiro fell completely still to the ground while Azula stopped in place.

After seeking confirmation from Jiro, Midnight declared Azula the winner. Azula grimaced as she walked away from the ring while a stretcher carried Jiro away.

"Congratulations on winning the fight and moving on to the next round." I congratulated Azula as she approached the stands once again, Azula plopped down in her seat.

"I wouldn't call that a fight," Azula said dryly, I snorted in amusement but didn't respond, the four of us looked back at the ring.

The next fight was between Viktoriya and Yunyun, to my huge surprise, the fight was quite close, Viktoriya had military training if her rigid and efficient movements were any indication, and she further demonstrated her quirk, which was a Trump, just like Yunyun.

Trump, a Quirk classification originally coined by Americans and adopted by the rest of the world. Originally, it refers to those Quirks that affect other Quirks, for example, Professor Aizawa, whose Quirk, Eraser , nullified most of other people's Quirks. But it also refers to those Quirks that are extremely versatile, who can use various powers that seem to have no relation to each other, as if they had more than one Quirk.

And the Trumps were rare, less than 5% of people could classify their quirks as Trump, and now we had a fight between two of them. Extremely rare.

In the end, Yunyun was the one who came out on top, by a small margin, she had greater firepower than Visha, and much more versatility.

"I'm going to go get ready" Taylor said as she stood up, I kissed her softly before she left. I watched her go for a few seconds before looking back at the ring.

The next fight was Bakugo vs Uraraka, the fight happened exactly the same as canon, with Bakugo winning by completely destroying Uraraka's plan of her stone rain.

And finally the last fight.

Now it was Taylor's turn against Darkness. I was curious how Taylor would fight, I'm sure it's impossible for her to lose, no matter how tough Darkness is, Taylor would be able to defeat her under normal circumstances.

"AND NOW WE HAVE THE WALKING ENTOMOPHOBIA GENERATOR! THE QUEEN OF INSECT HORROR! THE THIRD RANK S WITHIN CLASS 1A, THE ONE WHO BROKE THE ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE ENTRANCE EXAM!! TAYLOR HEBEEEERRT!!!! "

I snorted in amusement at Taylor's introduction, Taylor barely reacting as she approached the arena, Shusui still wrapped in webs at her hip.

"AND ON THE OTHER SIDE WE HAVE THE HUMAN FLESH SHIELD!! A MASOCHIST WHO LIKES TO BE HUMILIATED ON NATIONAL BROADCASTS!!! THE ONLY THICKER THAN HER SKIN IS HER SHAMELESSNESS IN MOANING AND ENJOYING A BEATING IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE!! "A SHAMELESSNESS ONLY SEEN SINCE THE DAYS OF MIDNIGHT!! DARKNEESSSS!!!!"

I laughed out loud as I watched Darkness, completely red in the face from the embarrassment of her performance, step onto the arena. She had a double-edged sword in her hand, like a knight's.

"START!!!"

To my surprise, Darkness was the first to move and I stared at her in disbelief.

…I wouldn't do it… or would I?

My response was answered when Darkness swung her sword several times, Taylor had tensed slightly, ready to move at any moment, but she stood completely still, tilting her head in confusion as Darkness attacked.

Taylor didn't need to move, because Darkness missed every attack she threw horribly, even against a completely still Taylor. Darkness stared at Taylor for a few seconds before her face exploded into red.

"I... Taylor did something, right? Tell me Taylor did something," Ruby pleaded as she looked at Darkness almost horrified, she sighed before snorting amusedly.

"No, Taylor didn't do anything, she stood completely still, just... just that Darkness, has horrible aim." I said honestly, the pair of girls next to me looked at me in disbelief.

"No one can be that horrible!" Ruby shrieked, I shook my head.

"Darkness yes, in fact, they believe that her bad aim is due to her quirk, but... nobody really believes it" I looked at Darkness who was trying to attack once again.

"It's horrible." Azula said simply as she looked at the walking disaster that was Darkness, I chuckled, I couldn't really deny it in any way.

Taylor seemed to understand that she wouldn't really get anywhere so she moved. She didn't even draw her sword, she just struck Darkness's stomach with Shusui's hilt. Darkness didn't even feel that blow. Taylor turned and used her heel to strike Darkness's head. Darkness didn't even flinch.

Taylor frowned slightly, placing her hand on Shusui's hilt ready to draw, only to stop and release her grip. A few seconds later, a swarm of insects rose above the stadium, eliciting screams from the audience.

"DON'T WORRY LISTENERS! INSECTS ARE PART OF CONTESTANT HEBERT'S QUIRK! "YOU'RE COMPLETELY SAFE! " Present Mic quickly exclaimed, visibly calming the audience. I snorted mockingly. There weren't even that many insects, or... maybe there were, but I just got used to the huge amount of insects Taylor can control.

Taylor controlled her bugs to descend upon Darkness and attach themselves to her body, beginning to crawl over and under her clothes. Darkness shuddered and began to thrash around.

Taylor's bugs, whose swarm included spiders, specifically black widows, lots and lots of them, began to fill her with webs, Darkness thrashed around trying to get all the bugs off of her, but the spiders, she could throw meters upon meters of web, and thousands of them working in unison, quickly covered Darkness.

It was hardly a cocoon, it would take a long time to create a human-sized cocoon, instead the webs were focused on her legs first, slowly enclosing them together causing Darkness to stumble to the ground. Once Darkness fell to the ground the spiders focused on her torso, specifically her arms.

Taylor began to sting, bite, and drag non-lethal insects onto Darkness's hip, forcing her to try to shoo the insects away due to discomfort, Taylor took the opportunity and her insects stuck both of Darkness's arms to her torso with an abnormal amount of webbing.

Darkness was encased in a semi-cocoon, unable to separate her legs and arms, and to no one's surprise, she was completely red in the face and slightly out of breath. Taylor paid no attention to her, simply walking over to her and starting to roll her around the ring with her foot. Darkness tried to resist, but Taylor's strength was enough to spin her to the edge of the ring.

Taylor gave Darkness one last kick and she left the ring.

Yo… was that possible? It was practically straight out of a fucking cartoon, it shouldn't have worked, but… it did, what the fuck.

"What the fuck." Azula muttered in disbelief, it seemed she wasn't even believing what had just happened. Looking around, I wasn't the only one, even Midnight in the center hadn't declared Taylor the winner because of the bizarre thing she had just witnessed.

" I… WELL, THAT JUST HAPPENED LISTENERS!!! THE WIN GOES TO TAYLOR HEBEERT!!! " A SHOW OF APPLAUSE!! " Present Mic exclaimed, bringing the audience out of their stupor. Taylor shrugged, and with a quick disenchantment from Shusui, she cut Darkness's web, setting her free.

"WELL, THE FIRST ROUND FIGHTS HAVE COME TO AN END. WE'RE GOING ON A SHORT BREAK FOR NOW... WE'LL BE BACK SOON TO START THE SECOND ROUND."

"Well, I have to go get ready," I told them both as I stood up, kissed them both quickly, and walked away in the direction of the waiting rooms. I ran into Taylor on the way.

We both stood still as my smile grew.

"No" Taylor snapped quickly, I chuckled and shrugged.

"Congratulations on making it to the next round." I said to Taylor playfully, she groaned.

"Don't congratulate me on that fight, I don't even know what that was," Taylor growled and I burst out laughing.

"It's still a win" I said simply, she snorted and didn't say anything else, I walked over to her and pulled her into a quick kiss.

"I have to go get ready." I told her simply, she nodded and kissed me once more before parting ways.

"Good luck." Taylor said simply before starting to walk towards the stands.

I continued my way to the waiting rooms. My opponent was Tanya. Because of how short her fight against Yaoyorozu was, I have no idea what her quirk can do besides turning her bullets into explosives.

I wasn't worried, but information from an opponent was always welcome.

" E-Endeavor, w-what are you doing here? " I stopped stiffly when I heard Midoriya's weak voice, "It can't be?!" I quickly used my Haki, sure enough, Endeavor and Midoriya were having their rendezvous just around the corner. I slowly approached the corner without making any noise.

"I'm going to witness your battle, boy. You have an incredible quirk, just like your father's, in terms of pure strength, it's comparable to his, even though you clearly can't use his quirk to its fullest" wait, she 's not talking about... it can't be... or is it...

"I don't know anything about that, ma'am, I must go!" Midoriya immediately denied it.

"My dear Shoko, you have the glorious task of dethroning All Might, so a fight between the two of you, against your son, will serve as a good simulation." Endeavor announced dramatically "So, boy, do your best to put up a worthy fight, understood? "

"I... I'm not All Might, and I don't know how you know, but since you seem to know, I'm not my father."

"I know that very well, I don't know why your father chose... that woman with a weak quirk to procreate with, and... not a more worthy woman, with a stronger quirk." Endeavor sounded bitter, almost jealous.

"Because my father loves her" Midoriya said so simply and as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, Endeavor growled and Midoriya didn't flinch, in fact, I could feel that he was glaring at Endeavor "but getting back to the point, I'm not my father, and you should know, that you... are not your daughter." With that statement made, Midoriya walked away from Endeavor, who was completely still in her spot.

I quickly walked away from the place.

Well, well, well, I certainly didn't see that coming, All Might being Midoriya's biological father? That certainly changes a lot of things. And raises a lot more questions. Is OFA still a transferable quirk?

Or is it hereditary? In that case, it would open up many more unanswered questions, is Midoriya a direct descendant of the first carrier? Nana is Midoriya's grandmother? All Might's mother? What about Shigaraki? Assuming he's still Nana's grandson, does that mean Shigaraki and Midoriya are related?

I had so many questions, and no one to ask anymore. I would have to figure out how to confront All Might and Midoriya somehow without letting him know the amount of information he clearly shouldn't have.

But that will be for later.

"THE SECOND ROUND BATTLES WILL BEGIN!!

Now I have to fight Tanya.
