First Kill

3 months later

"During the past 3 months, We did 27 D-rank missions and 11 C-Rank missions.

As expected, the D-rank missions are just the village's chores

As for the C-ranks we did so far, They were just uneventful escorts where we escort some individual or a merchant cart to a town."

The mission rewards for D-ranks mission rewards ranges from 1000 to 10.000 ryo.

C-ranks starts from 15.000 up to 50.000 ryo and are either escorts or bandit extermination.

B-ranks starts from 75.000 up to 250.000 ryo. Mostly consisting of merchant caravan escort, civilian assassination and rogue ninja hunt.

A-rank is where it gets dangerous since all the targets in the bingo book are at least considered A-rank missions.

A-rank mission rewards starts at 500.000 ryo without any upper limit. When they reach a certain price, they should be considered S-rank missions but apparently S-rank missions are an entirely different breed.

S-rank missions are mostly infiltration and assassination missions which can cause diplomatic issues or at worse, war. So only Anbu can take them since they hide their identities.

The rewards of S-rank missions starts at 1.000.000 ryo without any upper limit.

For normal ninjas unnafiliated with Anbu, A-ranks are the highest mission rank they can take.

As for the mission rewards distribution, it is divided by 40% for the team leader and the rest for the remaining members of the team. The village already takes its share before the mission is posted.

"even doing solo D-rank mission should've allowed me to do a mission every once in while and just lie back at home but now that I graduated from the academy, I actually have to pay rent since I'm considered an adult.

I should probably consider buying a new house once I start raking in mission rewards."

During this period, He did a much heavier workout under Magaru's supervision while his clones were still training other things, mostly nature transformation training trying to reduce the number of seals for his jutsu

The number of clone memories he could withstand also increased to 6 so he dived into fuinjutsu again. Thanks to the clan leader, He obtained some of Uzumaki Mito's notes on fuinjutsu. He was still a beginner now but the number of seals he could make increased.

...

"Today we'll be doing our first bandit extermination and prisoner rescue.

After being beaten black and blue for 3 months by Magaru-sensei in the name of training, we're apparently now ready to undertake our first kill.

This is one of the things I was mostly afraid of since coming to this world.

I have long known that this is dog eat dog world but it's still nervewracking even if the people we're about to kill are rapists and murderers.

I prepared some food pills and a sleeping bag since the bandit camp we'll be attacking is quite far from konoha. "

After waiting at the Village gate for a few minutes, they finally set off.

After a 6 hour long trip where they alterned between running at full speed and walking, They finally arrived near the bandit camp. It was already night when they arrived. Without having time to rest, Magaru urged them to make plans and attack immediately afterwards.

...

After strategizing, Hirata immediately used his byakugan to confirm that there were 38 people in total with 5 women held in cages and the rest being all bandits.

In the cover of the night, Kayo and Tetsuya immediately took care of the scouts patrolling around the camp without making any sounds.

Both Kayo and Tetsuya nearly vomited once they saw the blood splurting from their victims's throat. Good thing they only ate food pills since the night before so they had nothing to vomit.

Hirata then joined them and the three of them quietly headed to where the bandits slept and quietly slit their throats while they were asleep.

The only bandits left now were the bandit leader who slept in his room and 2 others who were guarding the room.

While Kayo was sent to liberate the captives, Hirata and Tetsuya both rushed to the bandit leader's room without bothering to hide anymore.

Tetsuya immediately decapitated the bandit with his sword without giving him time to scream while Hirata Knocked the other one out then killed him with a kunai.

As they entered the boss's room, all they saw was man hiding in a corner begging for his life.

Apparently this bandit leader was from another bandit group but they were wiped out by ninjas while He was away. So this bandit was quite afraid of Ninjas.

Tetsuya killed him since he was a bandit who pillage and kills innocent people. And they did so even after knowing that they could be hunted by Ninjas anytime.

This bandit was already given a second chance in life after he survived but still chose a life of crime. In life, there's no such thing as a third chance.

...

The hostages were rescued and all the bandits killed. All they had to do now was to escort these people to their village and have the employer sign a paper marking that the mission was succefully accomplished.

After they set up camp, Magaru said:

"You've all done a great job, this is your true first step into the world of ninja.

I recommand that you give up being a ninja if you can't stand psychological damage like this since when you guys reach chunin, you'll be doing a lot more of things like this."

"Damn! that was disgusting, I probably won't be able eat meat for a days after this.

These women will probably be scarred after what they experienced in the bandit camp.

They were all bandits worthy of death so I don't have much guilt but it's still not a good feeling to kill your fellow human beings."

All three genins had a sullen face, reflecting on what they've done.

We could've probably set off in the morning and come back at nightfall but considering we'll probably be traumatized afterwards, Magaru decided to let us sleep outside to give us time to adjust our mentality.

In the morning, They finally set off to the village slowly while escorting the women.

In the afternoon they finally arrived to Konoha and after reporting to the mission center they finally separated.

"It turns out that the Hokage wasn't idle enough to care about the D-C rank missions. Team 7 was most likely a special case since it contained the Jinchuriki and the last Uchiha.

I Didn't even see Hiruzen's face during the 3 months I was to the mission center. "
