Seeds of the 'Wehrmacht'

With this she has planted the seeds of her Army. Erika started the training programme for Bauer and Emil so that they can take command and control of the new otherworldly Wehrmacht. But there is something she is extremely frustrated about. 2 weeks into training and military study that she bestowed on them. Both Emil and Bauer began to understand that these weapons though very powerful was not something that can be used very easily. They require proper maintenance and resupply on the battlefield. But as of now only Erika can make such weapons. "Milady do you have any plans for how to keep up the production of these ammunitions and weapons?" asked Bauer. Emil echoed in, "Yes, milady you cannot keep producing such weapons for an entire army by yourself. You will have to think up of some ways to mass produce such weapons and especially the bullets they fire." "Can't a wehraboo fulfill her simple dreams?!" Erika exclaimed. Reality was hitting hard on her. She was already having trouble maintain the supply of bullets necessary just to train these two. "What can I do? I have no idea how to mass produce arms and munitions for the entire Wehrmacht. Damn it Austrian painter. What did you do?" "Umm... what is a vehrabu milady and what is Vehr.... what you said?" asked Bauer with a surprised look on her face."Its nothing. Forget you ever heard this word. The name of my army shall be Wehrmacht pronounced as W E H R M A C H T" "Milady if I may, I have some suggestions." "Yes, please tell Emil." "As it stands the weapons themselves don't require high level magic and can be made by blacksmiths of which there are plenty in master's territory. You can show them how to make the guns. This will free up some of your time also I suggest hiring alchemists to make the ammunitions fired by these weapons." Without any industry the only way for Erika was to depend on magic and human power furthermore she doesn't have the slightest idea about maintaining such industry so she thought it was the best idea for now. "That's a very good idea Emil. I will go look for them tomorrow."

The next day, Erika went to town with Emil. Bauer was busy maintaining the newly created arsenal for the 'Wehrmacht'. While looking for people to hire she had to make sure that they are reliable, loyal and tight lipped. Not many would fit this description. But she had to try. For now she only wanted to hire some craftsmen and blacksmith, who could make the guns. After whole day of searching through the market she was only able to hire six people in total. She wanted a fulltime commitment from them and not a one time request. Many were hesitant nobles were infamous for their hypocrisy and disposing off those they used as a result many didn't dare to take up the job though Erika offered a handsome price and offers that seemed unreal in this world. Which led to the very low number of people. Among them, 4 were blacksmiths and 2 were craftsmen. She employed them with a monthly pay of 10 silvers, a daily workhour of 10-5 with a 30 minutes break for lunch and 5 days work week. They were given a contract that demanded absolute loyalty and strict confidentiality of their work. But they were free to do whatever they want in their free time. She told them to come on time the next day. Erika was absolutely positive that she will succeed in her endevours. Finally even though many more steps remained to be taken, she could finally see her very own Wehrmacht marching proudly behind her and breaking her doom.
