"Arrogance vs Skill"

With a sigh of relief Miro thanks the instructors and left the Assessment room. Miro's mind raced with different thoughts and possibilities. But now he has to go through the test three. He doesn't know if it will be hard or easier than the two tests. But he knows that he'll pass this time.

Miro walked through the corridors and heard the sound of the bell echoed through the halls of the academy, signaling an announcement was about to be made. Miro's mind was still reeling from the second test, and he wondered what the announcement could be about. He continued walking, making his way towards the training ground where announcements were typically made.

As he reached the training ground, he saw a group of students already gathered there, waiting for the announcement to begin. Miro joined them, standing near the back and looking up at the stage where the professors usually stood when making announcements.

As Miro waited for the announcement to begin, he heard a voice behind him.

"Hey there dragon boy!," Luna said, approaching him with a smile. "How'd the second test go for you?"

Miro turned to see Luna standing behind him, her hands on her hips as she looked at him with a grin. "Hey, Luna," he said, returning her smile. "It was tough, but I think I did alright. What about you? How did your test go?"

"I aced it, of course," Luna said, sounding completely confident. "You know me, I always nail these things. I bet you were nervous as hell though, weren't you?" Miro rolled his eyes at her cocky attitude but couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, I was a bit nervous," he admitted. "But I think I managed to hold it together. What do you think they're going to announce now?"

"Your guess is as good as mine," Luna said with a shrug. "Maybe it's something about the third test. They said it would be the most difficult out of the three, right? I can't wait to see what they have in store for us."

"Attention students! The third test will be delayed until tomorrow due to unforeseen circumstances. In light of this development, the academy has graciously offered for you to stay in the dormitories overnight. Please make your way there and rest up for tomorrow's test."

As the announcer made the announcement, there was a collective groan from the group of students.

"Oh great," Luna said, rolling her eyes. "Looks like we're stuck here for the night. At least the instructors are providing us with a place to stay." Miro nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I guess we don't have much choice. It'll be a pain to have to come back tomorrow, though. I just want to know what the third test is already."

"Hey, it could be worse," Luna said, trying to look on the bright side. "At least we get to stay in the academy for the night. We might even be able to explore a bit and find some secret spots."

Miro and Luna made their way through the halls of the academy, trying to find their assigned dorms. They passed by several other students, each looking just as tired and excited as they were.

"Ugh, I hope my room is decent," Luna said, as they turned a corner. "I don't fancy sleeping on a hard bed all night."

"I'm sure it'll be fine," Miro said, trying to keep a positive attitude. "I doubt the academy would give us anything less than comfortable."

Miro and Luna finally found their assigned dormitory, and were pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually quite nice. The room was spacious and clean, with two beds, a table, and even a small bathroom attached. "Well, this isn't so bad," Luna said, looking around the room. "I was expecting something a lot worse."

Miro wandered over to his bed and sat down, still lost in thought. He was relieved to have a comfortable place to sleep for the night, but his mind was still preoccupied with the third test.Luna watched him from her bed, a small smirk on her face. "What's wrong with you, Dragon boy? You're even more quiet than usual."

Miro looked up, realizing that he had been zoning out. "Huh? Oh, uhm sorry," he said, shaking his head to clear his thoughts. "I was just thinking about the third test. I still can't figure out what it could be."

"You're still worried about that?" Luna said, rolling her eyes. "Come on, we still have a whole night to relax. You need to loosen up a bit, you're too tense all the time."

"I know, I know," Miro said, sighing. "I just can't help it. This test is really important, and I want to make sure I'm prepared for it."

Luna rolled her eyes again, but her expression softened a bit. "I get it, it's important. But you're stressing yourself out too much. You need to relax and trust in your abilities. You've passed the first two tests easily, so why wouldn't you pass this one as well?"

Miro and Luna both settled into their beds for the night, trying to get comfortable. Miro still felt a bit restless, his mind still filled with thoughts of the third test. But as the hours passed, Miro's exhaustion caught up with him, and he slowly drifted off to sleep.Luna, meanwhile, had no trouble falling asleep. She snuggled into her blankets and quickly fell into a deep sleep, her face looking peaceful and content.

The night passed quietly as Miro and Luna slept peacefully in their respective beds. The sounds of the academy were muffled, and the quietness of the night was only broken by the occasional sound of a owl hooting or the wind rustling through the trees outside.

Miro awoke to the sound of birds chirping outside. He groggily opened his eyes and sat up in bed, trying to get his bearings. He looked over at Luna's bed and saw that she was still sound asleep, her arms and legs sprawled out on the bed as she snored softly.

As Miro sat there, he couldn't help but feel a bit disoriented. He was not used to waking up in a place that wasn't his home.He looked around the room, taking in his surroundings. The sight of the academy building through the window was a stark reminder of where he was and what he was here to do. Miro got out of the bed and stretched, feeling a bit stiff from sleeping in an unfamiliar bed. He walked over to the window and looked outside, taking in the view of the academy grounds below.

The sun was just peeking above the horizon, bathing the campus in a warm, golden light. Miro took a deep breath, relishing the feeling of the fresh air on his face. As he continued to look out the window, he heard a soft groan behind him. He turned to see Luna stirring in her bed, slowly waking up.

"Mmm...five more minutes..." Luna mumbled, burying her head in her pillow. Miro chuckled softly, watching as Luna tried to shield her eyes from the sunlight streaming into the room. "You can't stay in bed all day, you know," he said, jokingly. "Watch me," Luna grumbled, stubbornly pulling her blanket over her head.

Miro couldn't help but chuckle finding her stubbornness amusing. "Seriously, you have to get up eventually. We have the third test today, remember?". At the mention of the test, Luna groaned and poked her head out from under the blanket. "Ugh, you had to remind me, didn't you?". "Yep, I did," Miro said, still grinning. "And I'll keep reminding you until you get out of that bed and get ready for the day."

"Besides I noticed you aren't a morning person huh. But after this I'm pretty sure you'll be the energetic bunny again." Miro said half-jokingly. Luna gave Miro a glare, clearly not pleased with his comment. "Watch it, dragon boy," she warned, sounding a bit grumpy. "And yes, I'm not a morning person. I prefer to sleep in until noon if I can help it."

Just as Miro and Luna were about to start bickering, they were interrupted by the sound of the bell. The familiar ring echoed through the halls of the academy, signaling that an announcement was about to be made. Miro and Luna exchanged a quick look, their earlier teasing forgotten as they wondered what the latest announcement could be. They both knew that the third test was today, so they figured that the announcement had something to do with that.

"Come on, let's go see what it's about," Miro said, heading towards the door. Luna groaned but followed him. The two of them made their way out of their dorm and towards the training ground, where they knew the announcements were usually made.As they approached the training ground, they saw that a small crowd of students had already gathered there, waiting anxiously to hear what the announcement would be. Miro and Luna joined the group, standing near the edge of the crowd.

The crowd of students listened intently as the announcer spoke. "Attention students," the announcer said, his voice amplified by magic. "Today's final test will be a sparring match against a magical combat robot. This robot is programmed with several different levels of difficulty, and will provide a challenging but fair opponent for each student." Miro felt nervousness creeping up on him as he heard this. His muscles tensed in anticipation.

He had never fought a robot before, let alone a magical one. He wasn't sure what to expect.Beside him, Luna was looking determined, her eyes narrowed in focus. She seemed ready to take on whatever challenge the robot threw at her. The announcer continued, "Each student will take turns facing the robot in a one-on-one match. The robot will adjust its difficulty level based on the student's magic power and skill level, ensuring a fair and challenging fight. The match will end when one student defeats the robot or is unable to continue the fight."

The other students around them whispered and mumbled amongst themselves. Some looked excited at the prospect of sparring with a magical combat robot, while others looked nervous or unsure. As the announcer concluded his announcement, a cocky boy with messy hair and a group of his friends snickered loudly. "A sparring match with a robot?" he said, his voice dripping with bravado. "That's child's play. I could beat that thing blindfolded."

His friends chuckled and nodded in agreement, obviously impressed by their fearless leader. Miro and Luna both rolled their eyes at the sight of this cocky boy and his friends. As the cocky boy and his friends continued to boast about their skills, Luna rolled her eyes and spoke up. "Yeah right," she said sarcastically. "I'd like to see you try. That robot is programmed with some tough moves. I doubt you could even land a hit on it."

The cocky boy looked at Luna, his smirk faltering slightly. "Oh yeah?" he said, eyeing her up and down. "And who are you to talk? You think you could do better than me?". Luna smirked back at him, not intimidated by his bravado. "Oh, I know I could do better than you," she replied confidently. "You're all talk and no action. I wouldn't be surprised if you were beaten by that robot in less than a minute.".

The cocky boy's face reddened with anger at her words. "You're just a girl," he said, trying to regain his composure. "You have no idea what you're talking about. I've won countless fights before. I can handle that stupid robot no problem." Luna rolled her eyes again, now thoroughly amused at his confidence. "Countless fights, huh? Against who, your little friends here?" she gestured to his friends, who were now looking uncertain at the turn of events.

Miro, sensing that the situation was escalating, grabbed Luna's arm and tried to pull her back, whispering to her to stop antagonizing the cocky boy. "Luna, don't start a fight," he said quietly, but she shrugged him off, her attention focused on the cocky boy in front of them. "Oh come on, Dragon boy," she said, ignoring Miro. "I'm just putting this jerk in his place. He needs to be reminded that not everyone is impressed by his overconfidence."

The cocky boy's temper flared at her words, and he took a step forward, now towering over Luna. "You better watch your mouth, girl," he warned, his eyes narrowed. "Or you'll regret it."

"Yeah? And who do you think you are huh? You are just a cocky and arrogant boy who thinks he's better than everyone." Luna said with a smirk enjoying how she is irritating the boy.

The boy scowled "Oh please I'm Enrichi and I'm the best here in this academy and I'm pretty sure I could defeat those robots blindfolded."

"Sure I'd like to see you try defeating those robots blindfolded." Luna said clearly amused by his confidence.

Enrichi scowled, his ego bruised by Luna's words. "I'm not just a cocky and arrogant boy," he said, his voice rising. "I'm the best fighter in this whole damn academy. And I'll prove it to you right here and now."

Luna scoffed, clearly unimpressed by his claims. "You're all talk," she said, folding her arms over her chest. "You think you're such a tough guy, but you're just compensating for something. Let's see if you can back up your words with some actual skill.". Enrichi's face turned red with anger. "You wanna see my skills?" he said, his voice a low growl. "Fine. I'll show you just how skilled I am. And when I'm done with you, you'll be begging me for mercy.".

With that, Enrichi lunged at Luna, his fist raised in a threatening manner. Miro tried to intervene, but Luna was faster. She dodged his attack with ease, and then countered with a swift kick to his stomach. Enrichi stumbled back, wincing in pain. He hadn't expected her to be that quick. "You...you're fast," he said, struggling to catch his breath.

"And you're slow," Luna retorted, maintaining her defensive stance. "I thought you were supposed to be the best fighter in the academy. You're not living up to your own hype.". Enrichi's friends were now watching the fight with a mixture of awe and disbelief. Clearly, they hadn't expected Luna to hold her own against their leader.

Enrichi growled in frustration, his ego bruised once again. He signaled to his friends and they slowly backed away, clearly realizing that they were no match for Luna's skill.Enrichi shot Luna one last glare before turning and stalking away with his friends. They muttered amongst themselves, clearly shaken by the unexpected display of skill from Luna...

Well Luna really is strong... Miro thought.
