Professor Kaito paused for a moment, her eyes sweeping across the room, and then began the tale. "The story of the Seven Scrolls is a legend that has been passed down in the academy for centuries," she began. "Long ago, a powerful mage created seven scrolls, each one holding a different element of magic - fire, water, earth, air, light, darkness, and void.".
"The mage, fearing the misuse of such power, hidden the scrolls far apart, each in a different location," Professor Kaito continued. "It was said that the mage's aim was to ensure that no one would ever be able to gather all seven scrolls, and thus, no one would obtain the ultimate power contained within them."
She paused dramatically, letting the weight of her words sink in. The class was still, listening intently to her every word.
"However," the professor continued, her voice stern, "the mage's powers were not absolute. He was unable to destroy or unmake the scrolls once they were completed.".. "His greatest regret, they say, was that he could not destroy the scrolls even after hiding them. He feared that eventually, they would be found, and all seven would be collected by one person, creating an unstoppable power."
The room was still, the students hanging on to the professor's every word. Luna, in particular, was listening intently, her eyes wide. Miro, too, was riveted, his mind already racing with the implications of this legend.
"The scrolls were hidden in seven villages," Professor Kaito continued. "Each village is said to hold a different scroll, protected by its people and hidden within its land"...."The villages," she said, as a map appeared on the screen behind her, "are called Lumos, Umbrodge,Teros, Tepesras, Lu, Tenbre, and Nix.".The map lit up the classroom, showing the names of the villages scattered across the academy's land. Miro's eyes traced over the names, committing them to memory.
"These villages," the professor said, her voice serious, "are not ordinary villages. They are said to be protected by ancient magic, and only those who are worthy or chosen can access them. Any outsider who tries to enter these villages without permission or invitation will be met with death or worse."
She let this statement sink in, allowing the students to fully grasp the seriousness of what she had just stated. Miro and Luna glanced at each other, both realizing the gravity of the legend they were hearing.
Professor Kaito continued her explanation. "Each of these villages is unique and tied to one of the seven magic types that the scrolls possess," she explained. "Lumos, for example, is known for its connection to light magic, while Umbrodge is connected to darkness."..."Teros," she continued, "is associated with earth magic, Tepesras with fire, Lu with water, Tenbre with void, and Nix with air."
"Let's start with Lumos," Professor Kaito said, her eyes glancing at the map. "Lumos is known as the village of light. It is protected by a powerful aura that prevents outsiders from entering without permission."..."According to the legend," she continued, "only those with pure hearts and good intentions can enter Lumos without encountering any trouble.".."Furthermore," she emphasized, "it is said that the residents of Lumos are also linked to the magic of light. They hold the power to create and shape beams of light, often using it in their day to day tasks and defense.".
Miro listened intently, his mind already painting a picture of Lumos, a village filled with light and peace. However, the part about only those with pure hearts being able to enter the village made him curious. What exactly defined a 'pure heart'?..Professor Kaito continued, addressing the class as a whole. "However, it's important to note that while Lumos is known for its light magic, it is also rumored to hold the first of the Seven Scrolls the Scroll of Light."..
"Now, Umbrodge is a different story altogether," Professor Kaito said, her gaze moving to the map again. "Unlike Lumos, Umbrodge is a village shrouded in shadows and mystery. It is said to be protected not by a light aura, but a dark one - an aura that repels all light and only permits those connected to the darkness to enter.".."According to the tales," Professor Kaito continued, her voice dropping slightly, "the residents of Umbrodge are connected to the magic of darkness.
They are said to have a strong affinity for the shadows and can manipulate them to their will."..Miro's mind was spinning with the information. He couldn't quite picture Umbrodge, a village that repelled light and only allowed those connected to darkness. It sounded both intriguing and somewhat ominous.Professor Kaito then addressed the class again. "Just like Lumos, Umbrodge is believed to house one of the Seven Scrolls the Scroll of Darkness."
"Moving on," Professor Kaito said, her eyes again shifting to the map, "we come to Teros the village of earth..Those who reside in Teros are said to have a strong connection to the magic of earth, hence the name," she explained. "They can manipulate soil, rocks, and all that pertains to the earth, whether it's shaping the very terrain or summoning golems to defend themselves."Now," Professor Kaito continued, "as for its magic protection, Teros is believed to be encircled by a field of strong earth magic. No one, no matter how powerful, can step into Teros without the permission of its people.".
The class was silent, everyone hanging on the professor's every word. Miro, especially, was absorbing the information, intrigued by the idea of a village so fiercely protected by its own magical barriers. Professor Kaito let her eyes move over the class. "And as you've probably guessed," she said, her tone serious, "it's said that Teros also houses one of the Seven Scrolls the Scroll of Earth."..
Professor Kaito's eyes shifted to the map again, and her voice dropped lower as she continued. "Next is Tepesras, the village of fire."Tepesras," she said, "is believed to be a fiery, almost volcanic village known for its strong connection to the magic of fire. The residents of Tepesras are said to possess formidable pyromancy skills, ranging from controlling flames to even creating them out of thin air. Furthermore," the Professor added, her gaze sweeping across the class, "Tepesras is protected by a field of fire. Any outsiders who may approach without the village's permission will be met with scorching flames and intense heat.Additionally,"
she said, her tone becoming more serious, "Tepesras is said to be the resting place for another Scroll the Scroll of Fire."
The class responded with a wave of excited whispers. The tale Professor Kaito was spinning was increasingly intriguing. Miro and the others were captivated, their minds already picturing the fiery landscape of Tepesras and its powerful inhabitants. The Professor continued, her gaze darting towards the map and settling on a particular village. "Now, we move on to Lu the village of water."
"Lu is a unique village that flourishes near a large lake or an ocean," Professor Kaito explained. "Its people are said to have a strong affinity for the magic of water, allowing them to manipulate water in various ways, as well as communicate with aquatic creatures and breathe underwater. As for its safety measures," she continued, "it is said that Lu is protected by a barrier of water - a wall of water that prevents any unwanted entry. Anyone who tries to enter without proper introductions will be pushed back by the forceful onslaught of water." She paused momentarily, allowing the class a moment to take in this information. "Additionally," she went on, "Lu is where the Scroll of Water is believed to be hidden."
Professor Kaito's gaze moved on to the next village on the map. "Now, we come to Tenbre the village of void," she said, her voice dropping lower. "Tenbre," Professor Kaito continued, "is a mysterious village that holds strong ties to the magic of void. The residents of Tenbre are said to possess powers related to manipulating the void the space in between, the unknown and the unseen. And as for its barrier, Tenbre is believed to be protected by a field of darkness," Professor Kaito added. "This darkness is not the same as the shadows that Umbrodge casts. This is true darkness, the absence of light and hope.
Professor Kaito paused for a moment, allowing the class a moment to digest the intense nature of Tenbre's protection. "Furthermore," she went on, "Tenbre is rumored to be the hiding place of the Scroll of Void."
Finally, Professor Kaito's gaze settled on the final village on the map the village of air, Nix..."Last but not least," she said, her voice filling the room, "we come to Nix the village of air. Nix is nestled in a high elevation, often a mountain or near the clouds, and its people are said to have a deep connection to the magic of air," Professor Kaito explained. "They can control the wind, create breezes and gusts, and in rare cases, even fly and breathe in the thin air at high altitudes."
"As for its defense," Professor Kaito continued, "Nix is said to be encircled by a protective field of air. This field is constantly in motion, forming a swirling wall of air that no one can cross without the village's approval. And lastly," she said, her gaze sweeping across the room, "Nix is the village where the Scroll of Air is said to be hidden."
The class was silent, absorbing the information they had just learned. Miro was especially fascinated, his mind racing with the legends and the implications of the Seven Scrolls.
After a moment, Professor Kaito broke the silence. "This," she said, "is the legend of the Seven Scrolls. Many people believe these scrolls are indeed real. If all seven are assembled, they could grant the wielder an unimaginable power."
"But remember," she warned, her voice stern, "these scrolls, if they exist, are not something to take lightly."
"They are not toys," she emphasized. "And collecting them is not something to be done on a whim. The challenges involved in finding and uniting the scrolls are immense."
Professor Kaito's expression grew serious again as she revealed yet another secret. "There is one more thing I must share with you all," she said, her voice lowered. "Legend has it that in the past, years before this academy was established here, the academy's previous students were sent to the Seven Villages to investigate the existence of the Seven Scrolls."
Miro's eyes widened at the Professor's words. Not only were the Seven Scrolls potentially real, but the previous students had actually been sent to investigate them? This information added an even greater sense of danger and intrigue to the legend. He needs to here more about this story..
