"Someone To talk Too"

The next morning, Miro woke up, his back aching from the hard ground. He sat up slowly, his eyes gritty from lack of sleep. The sky was just starting to lighten, the first rays of sunlight cutting across the landscape. He stood up, stretching out the knots in his back. His argument with Luna the night before came back to him, a wave of guilt and regret washing over him. He had to apologize, he knew that, but the idea of facing her and admitting he was wrong stung his pride.

Miro made his way back to the dorms, each step feeling like a slog. He entered the dorm room quietly, fully expecting to find Luna there, waiting for him. But when he opened the door, the room was empty. His heart sank at the sight.

Where was she? Had she gone to class already? Part of him felt relieved, not having to deal with the situation just yet. But another part, a deeper part, felt a pang of worry at her absence.

He looked around the room, but there were no notes or signs of where she might have gone. He sat down on his bed, trying to figure out what to do. Should he look for her? Should he wait for her to come back? He didn't know, and the uncertainty was driving him crazy.

As the day wore on, Miro attended his classes, his mind only half on the lessons. He saw Luna in some of his classes, but he couldn't bring himself to talk to her. Every time he caught a glimpse of her face, the guilt from their argument the night before rose up, making his stomach churn.

So instead of approaching her, he avoided her. He looked away whenever she caught his eye, pretended not to notice whenever she passed him. He knew he was being a coward, but he just couldn't face her yet.

As the classes drew to a close, Miro left the main building and headed for the cafeteria, hungry and in desperate need of a distraction. As he walked, he passed a girl from another section, someone he hadn't seen before. She was heading in the same direction, and he couldn't help but notice her.

The girl looked at Miro curiously as they walked side by side. She had long, dark hair tied back in a braid, and sharp eyes that seemed to take in everything around her. After a moment, she spoke up, her voice friendly. "You're in the same year as me, right?" she asked, a small smile on her lips. "But different section. I don't think I've seen you before."

Miro paused, somewhat surprised. He had been so lost in his thoughts, he hadn't expected anyone to talk to him. He looked at her, taking in her friendly demeanor. "Yeah, that's right," he replied, managing a polite smile. "I've been pretty focused on my studies, I guess."

Miro and the girl found an empty table and sat down, starting to chat. The girl, who introduced herself as Maya, seemed friendly and easy to talk to. She asked about his section, his studies, and his interests. Miro found himself being drawn into the conversation, the easy rapport they had making him forget, at least momentarily, about his worries.

The conversation moved from their studies to more personal topics, Maya sharing stories about her life and family, and Miro finding himself telling her about his own background. The more they talked, the more at ease Miro felt, the guilt and worry about Luna fading to the background.

As the conversation went on, Miro found himself enjoying Maya's company. She was smart, funny, and had a perspective on life that was different from his own. It was a fresh change from the tension and arguments that had been plaguing him lately. The lunch hour passed quickly, and before he knew it, the bell rang, signaling the end of the break. Miro realized, with a slight pang of surprise, that he had spent the entire time talking to Maya, forgetting all about his worries about Luna.

Over the next few days, Miro found himself spending more and more time with Maya. They ate lunch together, studied in the library, and even went for walks around the academy grounds. Miro found himself opening up to her more and more, and eventually, he found himself confiding in her about the argument and tension with Luna.

As he told her about his fight with Luna, he felt a weight lifted off his shoulders. Talking about it made him feel less alone, and Maya listened without judgment, offering her own perspective and advice. It felt good, having a fresh pair of ears to pour his heart out to.

Maya nodded sympathetically as he spoke, her expression understanding. "Conflict in relationships can be tough," she said, her voice full of empathy. "But it's important to communicate. Sometimes we let things build up inside, and it turns into a bigger issue than it needs to be."

Miro nodded, her words echoing in his mind. He knew she was right, but confronting Luna... the idea filled him with dread. What if she was still angry? What if they just ended up fighting again? "I know I should talk to her," he said finally, his voice tinged with frustration. "I just don't know how. It's like every time I even think about it, I freeze up and can't get the words out."

"It's understandable," Maya reassured him, resting a hand on his arm. "But avoiding the problem won't make it go away. You need to face it, or it'll keep Miro sighed, knowing she was right. "You make it sound so easy," he said, an edge of sarcasm in his voice. "But it's not as simple as that. Luna... she can be difficult to talk to, especially when she's angry." eating away at you."

"Maybe you just need to approach it from a different angle," Maya suggested. "Instead of talking about the argument, talk about how you feel. Sometimes emotions are more important than who's right or wrong." Miro thought about her words, the idea slowly sinking in. "You think that might work?" he asked. "Just telling her how I feel, without getting into the argument itself?"

"It's worth a try, at least," Maya said. "If you can approach the conversation from a place of vulnerability, she might be more receptive to what you have to say."

Miro took a deep breath, mulling over her advice. The thought of opening up to Luna, being vulnerable like that, it was intimidating. But he knew Maya was right. If he wanted to repair their relationship, he needed to try something different.

But..can he do it without getting into the argument again?...
