Prince's indifference

Ella arrived at the palace with Charming. The king eagerly awaited to meet his future daughter-in-law.

Ella: "Wow! This place is huge!"

Charming: "For a poor girl like you, it is."

Ella: "Who said I was poor? My father was a sailor, and we had a very good life." She proudly held her head high.

Charming laughed.

Ella: "What's so funny?"

Charming: "Sorry, it's just strange to hear you talk about yourself with such pride."

Ella: "Really? Well, it's been a long time since I had such a good life."

Charming: "I understand; living with that woman must have been terrible." He frowned slightly.

Ella: "But I'm very happy because you chose me." She smiled.

Charming thought: "I chose her because she's so naive and simple. This way, I can live my life more freely and without worries."

The king happily came down the stairs to see his son's bride.

King: "So, you've chosen this girl. She's truly beautiful." He smiled.

Ella curtsied: "It's an honor to have made you happy."

The king touched Ella's shoulder.

Ella looked at the king's face in surprise: "Is something wrong?"

King: "Not only are you beautiful, but you also behave politely." He laughed.

Ella: "Huh?"

Charming took Ella's hand and led her away. A special room was prepared for Ella.

Charming: "Sorry, my father likes you, so he says strange things."

Ella: "No, the king is really kind." She smiled.

Charming: "This is your room. If you need anything, just tell the servants."

Charming left and closed the door.

Ella: "It's so cold..." She opened the window to let some fresh air in.

Charming was sitting at his desk. There was a knock on the door.

Charming: "Come in."

Ella entered.

Charming: "Is something wrong?"

Ella: "Actually, I'm a bit bored."

Charming: "Well, find something to entertain yourself with."

Ella thought: "Does he always act so coldly?"

Ella: "Can I stay here?"

Charming: "Sure, sit down."

Ella sat on the couch and looked at Charming. Charming was silent the whole time, busy with his work.

Ella kept watching him.

Ella: "It's so quiet here; he doesn't even say a word." She fidgeted with her feet.

Ella: "Do you always sit quietly in a corner like this?"

Charming: "Yes, I get my work done better in silence."

Ella, feeling uncomfortable: "I see, you're really working hard." She fidgeted with her hands.

Charming: "There's nothing entertaining here. If you're bored, you can leave."

Ella suddenly stood up and said: "I'm your wife, but why are you always avoiding me?" She expressed her feelings.

Charming stood up and walked over to Ella.

Charming: "Let's see, you want me to do romantic things? You want me to hug you or kiss you, right?"

Ella: "I'm a little embarrassed, but it's natural..." She looked at the floor out of embarrassment.

Charming: "I never intended to get married. I chose you because you're a poor girl and won't cause me any trouble."

Ella: "You chose me because my clothes were ragged and torn?" She felt her heart breaking.

Charming: "I gave you new clothes, so what's your problem?"

Ella, surprised: "You gave me those clothes? So, you chose me from the beginning?"

Charming: "You should be grateful that I saved you from that woman and gave you a good life."

Ella, upset: "So, you've been using me all this time..."

Charming, surprised: "I gave you everything you wanted, what's your problem?"

Ella: "If you don't truly love me and just push me aside, none of it matters." She walked away sadly.

Charming: "Hey Ella, wait!"

Charming stood by the door, thinking about Ella's words.

Charming: "I don't get it. Every girl her age would be happy, but why is she...?"

Ella returned to her room, closed the door, and leaned against it.

"You couldn't win his affection, could you?"

Ella: "You are the one...!"

It was the same woman who had given Ella the dress.

The woman stepped forward and said: "My name is Margaret, I'm Charming's cousin." She smiled.

Ella: "You gave me those clothes on behalf of Prince Charming?"

Margaret: "Yes, did you like the dress?"

Ella, excited: "It was really beautiful!"

Margaret: "Charming is really emotionless, but I'll help you win his affection."

Ella, happy: "Can you really?"

Margaret: "Of course, just do everything I say."

Ella was very happy and determined to win Charming's affection no matter what.

Ella: "I will make Prince Charming admit that he loves me." She smiled and put her hands on her hips.
