Evan put away the Leaves of Tree of Beginning given to him by Marshadow and set them aside.

Then, it was time to shower and change clothes.

When he came out after washing up, Rosa still hadn't come out yet.

Evan didn't pay much attention and instead started processing the leaves of the Tree of Beginning.

Taking out three pieces, he washed them and soaked them in a special solution.

It would take until tomorrow afternoon for the outer layer of the Tree of Beginning leaves to fade before they could be used.

When Rosa came out of the shower, she saw Evan soaking three leaves.

She was stunned at the sight.

"Did you process them all?"

"This..."

So confident?

Rosa was a little confused.

Evan turned around and looked at her, then pointed to a nearby box.

"Marshadow just brought me a dozen more."

So, it seems like we won't be running out anytime soon.

Following his gesture, Rosa walked over and saw the Tree of Beginning's leaves pieces stacked on the box.

She immediately fell silent.

At that moment, her face was filled with questions.

What the heck?

So, we already had them?

Then, when she ran around earlier this afternoon, was that all for nothing?

Rosa looked at Evan with a somewhat frustrated expression.

Evan shrugged.

"Don't look at me like that."

"If I hadn't brought out your Leaves of Tree of Beginning, that little guy wouldn't have taken out his collection."

"It was just an unexpected bonus."

"Every action has a consequence."

"Is my consequence having to deal with you?"

Rosa playfully teased.

Evan rolled his eyes at her.

"Stop messing around. Your sense of responsibility is slipping."

"The more of this stuff, the better."

"Tomorrow, once we finish the pending orders, we'll start making Rare Candy."

"Rare Candy is such a pain to make."

"There's a lot of work ahead."

"Dry your hair and get to bed early."

Evan glanced at her still-wet hair and couldn't help but remind her.

After saying that, he was about to head back to his room when Rosa suddenly called out:

"Um... can you help me?"

Whirrrrr!

The sound of the hair dryer echoed in Rosa's room.

At this moment, Evan was standing behind her, drying her hair.

"You really have a way of summoning people."

"Can't you just do it yourself?"

Evan was speechless. She actually stopped him just to dry her hair?

Hearing that, Rosa looked a little embarrassed.

"Sorry... It's just that my legs are still a bit sore."

"I don't feel like bending over."

Before she could finish, Evan cut in.

"What does sore legs have to do with your hands?"

"If you wanted someone to do it for you, just say so."

Even as he complained, Evan didn't stop helping.

After all, the view from this angle was quite nice.

Rosa didn't bother explaining further.

She couldn't exactly tell Evan that at home, someone always helped her, and at school, her roommates did it for her.

She was just used to having someone dry her hair.

Well… better not mention that.

As she silently pondered, she grabbed some skincare products from her dresser and started applying them to her face.

Evan immediately understood.

Oh, she just wanted her hands free for skincare.

How troublesome.

While grumbling in his head, he quickly finished drying her hair.

Then, he tossed the hairdryer aside and headed back to his room.

Looking at her now-dry hair, Rosa smiled.

She quickly tidied up before pulling out some medicine for herself.

Her legs really did hurt—her inner thighs were even red and swollen.

Dragonite's skin might look soft, but in reality, it was quite tough.

After all, it was dragon skin.

Though its belly was surprisingly soft—kind of like a guy with a beer belly.

If you poke it, it actually feels squishy.

Not bad to the touch.

The night passed quietly, and Evan woke up early the next morning.

Just after breakfast, Sophia arrived at the door.

"Evan, good morning!"

"You're up early today."

Seeing Evan, the gentle Sophia greeted him happily.

Evan was a little surprised to see Sophia arriving so early.

"You're here so early today?"

"Did something happen?"

Sophia showing up so early puzzled Evan.

Doesn't she have school? She even made a special trip here.

Hearing his question, Sophia immediately nodded.

"Of course! I came because something big is happening."

"Evan, are you interested in Salamence?"

"How about we go do something huge?"

She looked incredibly excited as she spoke.

Evan was momentarily stunned by her words.

"Huh?"

Go on.

Interested? Of course, he was!

How could Evan not be interested?

Did Sophia get some kind of intel?

Rosa, who had just returned from breakfast, looked at Sophia with the same curiosity.

"Sophia, did you find a wild Salamence?"

If that were true, then this really was a big deal.

Sophia nodded eagerly.

"That's right!!"

"I got word yesterday that there was a Pokémon riot in the Heavenly Scourge Mountains."

"The cause of the disturbance was a group of incredibly strong Pokémon."

"One of them is a Salamence."

"And this Salamence is carrying a child."

"According to witnesses..."

"They saw a Shelgon fall off a cliff, only to be swiftly caught by a passing Pokémon."

"It was really fast."

"They couldn't clearly see what Pokémon it was, but if I had to guess, it was likely Salamence."

"So, Evan, are you interested?"

Sophia looked at Evan expectantly.

At first, she had considered inviting Violet to join her.

But after thinking it over, she decided against it.

It was better to ask Evan directly.

Evan was still in need of a few more Pokémon.

If he could capture a Salamence, his team would be complete much faster.

Besides, Evan was strong enough to ensure things went smoothly.

Salamence's strength was unknown.

But it was at least at the Elite level—possibly even Championship level.

Sophia wasn't interested in trying to catch such a powerful wild Pokémon.

It would be difficult to control.

She only wanted Shelgon.

She just didn't know if Evan would be willing to go.

After listening to her explanation, Evan touched his chin and asked, a little unsure:

"Does only you know about this, or has the news spread to a lot of people?"

"If a lot of people already know..."

"Then by the time we get there, it might be too late."

"All those crazy Trainers will have already rushed over."

Thinking about how Trainers act these days…

If this information had gotten out widely, there was no doubt that people were already swarming the area.

"That makes sense."

"It's definitely possible."

Rosa agreed completely with Evan's assessment.

Trainers in the China were notorious for their competitiveness.

By the time they arrived, they might not even get a chance to see Salamence, let alone catch it.
