Evan's words clearly indicated that she didn't really want to go.
Obviously, he was worried that too many people had already gone there.
"If we go now, we won't get anything."
"No," he replied.
"Only a few people know about this news."
"And the Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range is a very dangerous place."
"There aren't many Trainers who can pass through without obstacles."
"So, Evan, let's go there."
"Let's go check it out."
Her tone was full of expectation as she spoke.
Seeing her like this, Evan felt helpless.
After thinking for a while, he said, "Then I'll take a walk with you."
"Rosa, do you want to stay or come with me?"
"It's okay to wash and soak the leaves of the Tree of Beginning later."
"We'll just be out for a day or two, then come back and take care of it."
"What do you think?"
When Sophia heard Evan's words, she was suddenly surprised.
"Leaves of the Tree of Beginning?"
"Rosa, are you planning to make Rare Candy?"
Her eyes lit up as she spoke.
Sophia knew exactly what the leaves of the Tree of Beginning were used for.
Hearing the topic, she immediately realized that Evan and Rosa were preparing to make Rare Candy.
Rosa knew she had a Tree of Beginning at home. Even her own grandfather had wanted to buy it, but he had been refused.
Had those things been sent to Evan now?
Rosa nodded.
"Yes, we are indeed preparing to make Rare Candy."
"Evan said he would take care of it, and Marshadow gave him a lot."
"Now, there's no shortage of Tree of Beginning leaves here with Evan."
Listening to Rosa, Sophia's face filled with confusion.
"Marshadow?"
Sophia was puzzled.
"What Marshadow?"
As soon as she said the name, Marshadow emerged from Evan's shadow and glanced at Sophia.
∑(O_O)
Seeing Marshadow suddenly appear, Sophia was utterly stunned.
"T-This, this, this..."
Her eyes nearly popped out.
"A Mythical Pokémon—Marshadow?!"
"As you can see," Evan chuckled.
"I have Marshadow."
Sophia was truly shocked this time.
"How did Evan manage to do this?!"
She stared at him in disbelief.
Evan had actually caught a Marshadow?
Ah, this—ah, this!!
Sophia was completely floored.
Ignoring Sophia's shock, Rosa simply agreed, "Then let's do it after we go and come back."
"It's fine."
"I'm also curious about the Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range."
"Let's go together."
Rosa wanted to check it out as well. The Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range was rich in Pokémon resources. If they were lucky, they might even catch some interesting Pokémon.
As for a pseudo-legendary, she wasn't particularly interested. She didn't need one.
If possible, she wanted to catch a Pikachu.
With the decision made, Evan returned to his room and started packing. He also asked Isla and the others to watch over the breeding house.
The Pokémon quickly learned that Evan was leaving, so they started gathering one after another.
Rosa also went back to her room to pack a few changes of clothes.
Once they finished preparing, the three of them gathered in the backyard.
After Evan recalled most of his Pokémon, he looked at Rosa and Sophia.
"Rosa, what do you want to do?"
"Ride with me? Or go with Sophia on Garchomp?"
"Or do you want to ride Dragonite while I take Pidgeot?"
Hearing Evan's question, Rosa rolled her eyes immediately.
"I'll ride Pidgeot.
As for flying with Evan, forget it.
That's not happening."
She felt more comfortable riding Pidgeot than Dragonite. It was a smoother ride.
Evan nodded without thinking much and released Pidgeot.
"Then, Pidgeot, take Rosa with you."
"Let's go."
After saying this, he climbed onto Dragonite's back and signaled it to take off.
Rosa and Sophia followed closely behind as the three of them soared straight toward the Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range.
The Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range was vast—so massive that it spanned most of China, connecting countless large and small forests. The region was rich in resources, attracting many Trainers hoping to gather valuable items. Some even made their fortunes here.
This trackless wilderness held many natural items and medicinal herbs, and rare Berries could also be found growing in the wild. Large companies often hired people to collect resources from the surrounding towns, process them, and sell them for profit.
Sophia's family had set up offices in these areas, with stores dedicated to buying back resources. Otherwise, she wouldn't have known so much about it.
Still, by now, word had probably spread.
Evan wasn't holding out much hope.
They were just heading over to explore.
It wasn't a big deal.
Evan, Rosa, and Sophia flew for more than three hours before finally arriving at their destination—the Heavenly Scourge Mountain Range.
This place was far from the city where Evan lived. His home was near the coast, but this mountain range lay deep within the continent, marking the border between two regions.
From high above, they could see the dark peaks stretching endlessly along the horizon.
The mountains were the reason cold air from the other side didn't reach this region. Without them, winter would have arrived here already. On the other side of the range, it might already be freezing.
This mountain range played a crucial role in regulating China's climate.
According to past geographical knowledge, the land beyond the mountains once belonged to a colder region.
This side was managed by China, while the other side was governed by a different alliance.
However, not just anyone could cross through the heart of the range.
The wild Pokémon inhabiting this area were powerful.
Anyone lacking the strength to make the journey was just dreaming.
They'd likely be knocked out of the sky by the Pokémon below, mistaken for some unknown flying intruder.
Even those who made it through would face an expanse of frozen wasteland on the other side, where temperatures dropped to tens of degrees below zero.
Many Pokémon Professors speculated that Kyurem resided there, but no one had ever confirmed it.
If anyone had found Kyurem, they certainly hadn't lived to spread the news.
After all, just the cold radiating from its body was enough to freeze a person solid.
