What seemed like an hour or so passed, with Miranda devotedly nursing Prince Kael. She monitored his temperature, quickly fetching cold water to cool his forehead whenever he showed signs of fever. She fed him medicine, adjusted his pillows, and ensured he was comfortable throughout the process.

As she sat beside him, Miranda occasionally stood up to stretch or search through Prince Kael's belongings for something to occupy her mind. That's when she stumbled upon a collection of books, which she began to browse through, eventually settling on one to read.

Just as Miranda sat back down on the bed, immersed in her book, the tent door opened, and Lady Lyrian walked in. Lady Lyrian's eyes immediately focused on Prince Kael, lying motionless on the bed. Her expression changed, and she muttered, "My goodness, Kael."
