You Will Regret This

"You… you're letting me go?"

Dr. Gero was filled with disbelief, suspecting he must have misheard.

"What's wrong? Are you reluctant to leave?"

Yuujin wore a faintly mocking smile, while Dr. Gero's eyes flickered nervously, as though trying to decipher Yuujin's intentions.

Dr. Gero knew his strength was no match for Yuujin and his companions. He couldn't believe they'd simply let him walk away out of kindness.

Understanding Dr. Gero's thoughts, Yuujin sneered coldly, "Of course, I'm not so kind as to just let you go. I'm merely giving you a little more time to scurry around like the rat you are."

"The androids you've created—there must be more than just the two we've seen, right?"

"Go back to your lair. Bring out every android you've created. I'll wait for you at the temple, where I'll annihilate you and all your abominations!"

Yuujin made no attempt to conceal his intentions, his voice laced with biting sarcasm.

Though his life was temporarily spared, Dr. Gero's face twisted with rage, his entire body trembling.

"Curse you, Kami Yuujin! How dare you treat me with such disdain!"

"You'll regret this! You will regret this!!!"

His face contorted in fury, Dr. Gero roared.

Indeed, his laboratory still held several dormant androids—true monsters, ones even he struggled to fully control. Unless absolutely necessary, Dr. Gero had no desire to awaken them.

"Whether I regret this is none of your concern," Yuujin said coolly. "But if you continue wasting time, I'll make you regret it right here and now."

A cold, ruthless smile appeared on Yuujin's lips as he formed a glowing energy ball in his hand.

Without another word, Dr. Gero turned and fled into the sky.

"Yuujin, are you really going to let that guy go?"

Chi-Chi, standing nearby with a frown, voiced her concern.

Dr. Gero was evil and ruthless, driven by insatiable ambition. Not only did he seek to kill them and conquer the world, but he had also destroyed West City, claiming countless innocent lives. Such crimes could never be forgiven.

"Don't worry. It's just a brief reprieve. He won't escape judgment."

"Bulma, the tracker's already been placed on him, right?" Yuujin asked, turning his gaze to Bulma, who was approaching with several Red Silk Girls.

"Hmph, do you doubt my skills?" Bulma retorted smugly.

"The tracker's been placed long ago. It's a specially designed micro-intelligent tracker I created. Even Dr. Gero won't detect it."

"The tracker's attached to him now. No matter where he goes, our satellites will keep him under surveillance."

"Good. Just in case, with that tracker, he can't escape us."

"By the way, are Uncle and Auntie okay?" Yuujin asked, a hint of concern in his tone.

"They're fine," Bulma replied, but her voice grew somber. "However, the city's been devastated, and many lives were lost. The damage is catastrophic."

As Bulma spoke, her eyes burned with anger.

West City had been her childhood home, where many of her relatives and friends lived. The androids' ruthless actions, destroying the city and massacring innocents just to lure Yuujin and his companions out, filled her with fury.

Looking down at the ruins below, Yuujin's expression darkened. He landed with Bulma and the others amidst the devastation.

Rescue teams were busy clearing the debris and treating the wounded. Not far from Yuujin, a girl with her hair tied in a ponytail knelt beside the corpses of Master Crane and Tao Pai Pai, sobbing uncontrollably.

Yuujin recognized her as Yulin, Master Crane's new disciple. Master Crane had mentioned that the girl had talent in both martial arts and sorcery, and he hoped she would inherit the Crane School's teachings.

"You… Kami?"

Seeing Yuujin approach, the girl stared blankly and called out in a trembling voice.

"You're Yulin, right?" Yuujin asked. "Don't cry. Take care of your master's remains. I'll bring them back to life later."

Wiping the tears from her cheeks, Yuujin reassured her.

Although Master Crane and Tao Pai Pai weren't paragons of virtue, they had contributed significantly to his cause over the years. Knowing they died aiding Red Silk Girl No. 28 against the androids, Yuujin wasn't about to let their sacrifices go unanswered.

"Really? Thank you, Kami!"

The girl's tears ceased, replaced by a smile of gratitude.

"Yuujin, we've just used the Dragon Balls. Their power hasn't recovered yet," Bulma interjected hesitantly.

A reminder of the limitations of the Dragon Balls: they could only be used once a year. After the disasters caused by Yuujin and Goku advancing to Super Saiyan 2, the Dragon Balls had already been used recently to undo the damage.

Furrowing his brows, Yuujin considered the problem before quickly devising a solution.

"Bulma, take the Dragon Balls to Namek. Ask the former Guardian or the Grand Elder to enhance their power."

It was time to upgrade the Dragon Balls. While their power was remarkable, it remained constrained by the creator's strength. Enhancing them would eliminate many of the limitations they currently faced.

With Namek now part of Yuujin's empire, he had established good relations with its people during his training. Namekians, naturally gifted with extraordinary abilities, had joined his forces in gratitude after being resettled on a new, habitable planet by the empire.

"Right, that's a great idea!" Bulma exclaimed, clapping her hands.

Just as Bulma prepared to board a spaceship, Yuujin stopped her.

"Flying there will take too long—at least a month or two. Chi-Chi, use Instant Transmission to take her directly to Namek."

"Understood," Chi-Chi agreed.

"Red Silk Girl No. 28, stay here and handle the aftermath. Everyone else, return to the temple with me."

Dr. Gero was likely already releasing the rest of his androids. It was time for Yuujin and his allies to prepare for the impending battle.

With that, Yuujin and his companions soared into the sky.
