aizawa's first meeting with the vigilante.

(Aizawa's pov)

I sat atop the building, scanning the streets for any signs of trouble. Being an underground hero means long hours, little pay, and endless sleepless nights. It's grueling work, but at least I don't have to deal with the "vultures"—reporters, crowds, all that noise. Yamada's always been better at managing that circus anyway. But at the moment, that is not my main problem. It's the new case I've been assigned.

There's a new vigilante in town. Normally, I wouldn't bother with cases like this, but this one's… different. The vigilante doesn't have an official name, though the public calls her "The Raven" because of her black, raven-like mask. It covers her upper face and a little bit below her nose. but the important thing is, this vigilante is what looks to be a 10 or 11-year-old girl at the oldest... which is concerning, she's way too young to be a vigilante, and I don't even want to know what led her to become a vigilante at this young of an age.

So that's why I am here, taking even more shifts than usual at night, to get at least some clues about where she is, who she is, or maybe even get the chance to meet this vigilante.

I don't know what I'll do when I meet her, but I hope to gain some of her trust so that I can maybe lead her to something safer, preferably off the streets. Anything I'll take.

I just feel bad for her, she is way younger than my students yet she has lived a life bad enough to lead her to believe she needs to take this into her own hands. It's sad but I hope I can convince her. . . but first I need to find her.

"There is a report of a group of villains trying to break into the Musutafu bank at (nearby address) there are 4 people in total all of them being mutants." the pager went off and I instantly snapped out of my thought process and listened in, 'that's only a few blocks down' I thought to my self as I hopped across the buildings to get over to the locations.

###

I arrive at the scene of a girl with a black raven mask, and a small mask over her mouth. Holding a large black sleek pole, welding it like a bow staff. I wanted to jump into the fray but stopped to watch as she easily knocked one out with a hit to the side of the head.

2 other crocodile mutants charge at her and attempt to strike her but she moves out of the way of each attack like it was childs play. I moved closer and heard her mocking and crap-talking the other 2 as she dodged them before sweeping them off their legs and knocking them out with 2 swift bonks on the head.

"Hey, now that I've taken out your little zoo parade, I think you should surrender." the vigilante who I was just tasked with finding said, taking this fight as just a little fun. She even made a joke.

"shut up little girl, I'm going to crush you," the hulking villain growled advancing toward Raven. I felt a flash of worry—this guy was a literal elephant, No really, an actual elephant quirk.

He was huge and I would probably lose in a fair one versus one against him.

So I tried to grab the guy with my capture scarf from behind, but before I could raven, flashed a cocky grin at him. "Really? You, crush me? How original" she stated in a mocking tone, twirling the black staff In her hands before speaking again

"How exactly will you do that if you've…" she paused, launching herself sideways with an explosive speed. She moved like a bullet, turning and jumping off the wall behind the elephant villain, and with a quick, mid-air twist, slammed the end of her staff into his spine. "…already lost!" she finished, as he flew across the room, crashing hard into the opposite wall, knocked out cold.

I stood there, stunned. For a kid, she was incredibly strong and skilled—more so than any of my students, she was stronger than most 2nd even some 3rd years.

She was moving with the speed and precision that only a person could get by fighting for years. But… she was just a kid. also

Her demeanor didn't scream trauma or anger like I had thought; instead, she looked like she was… enjoying herself, having fuLikeike she was doing this as just a hobby. For just fun. BUT WHO FIGHTS AGAINST PEOPLE WHO COULD KILL YOU, WHO GOES INTO A LIFE-OR-DEATH SITUATION FOR FUN? FUN?

No, she couldn't possibly be doing this for fun, right? yeah. . . yeah. She's probably just coping with humor.

"oh, It looks like there is an onlooker here." I looked up towards the vigilante realizing that I was spotted by her while I was thinking. "ah, it's the homeless hobo hero Eraser Head. Well, tough luck for you"

Wait did she call me a homeless hobo?

"you won't be throwing me in jail for vigilantism today" she gave me a small finger wag with a smirk "As I have a life that I like keeping secret. todolooo~ " she sang as she threw a weird black ball at me *thunk* "OW! FUCK" I shouted as it fucking hit me in the head. It was a strong shot too.

"OW! Damn it!" I staggered as the thing bounced off my head, my eyes stinging a fuck ton from the sudden burst of smoke around me and in my goddamn eye's

A smoke bomb. Where in the flying fuck did she get a smoke bomb from?

I waved my hands to clear the purple gas, but by the time the smoke dispersed, she had vanished. It was like she'd never been there—except for the four unconscious thugs she'd taken down single-handedly, and the big old mess.

"cause that's not what an eleven-year-old can do. She's even better than my students. . . *sigh* problem children, given me so much paperwork"

A/N I wonder who the raven might be (also the raven is a shitty name, I know. but I can't name things for shit.)
