Amira tapped her fingers on the table. "What's your estimate?"

Bella sighed again, rubbing her temple. "To properly man the walls without overworking our forces, we need at least 1,000 more recruits—minimum."

Elias let out a low breath, muttering, "That's a big gap."

Bella nodded. "Exactly and right now, those working double shifts are getting burnt out which is not sustainable for long term. We need more hands on deck, or eventually, they'll start making mistakes from fatigue."

Amira expression darken, but she thought about it and nodded. "We can start looking for more volunteers and also we will get more people coming so there surely be some good candidate among them who will have experience in fighting mutated beast we can recruit them."

Bella pointed a flaw she thought. "Even though we can get some of these people but still they will be in less number and for now we also can't just throw new recruits onto the walls without proper training."
